[It's funny really. Since the shadow children finally relented, Amelia's been entirely too lost in thought to actually do much aside from half-assedly practice some and then wander around lost in deep thoughts and introspection. So when she steps onto the elevator she honestly doesn't really notice at first, her train of thought going a little something as follows.
"I couldn't protect any of them. They were right, weren't they?"
"What if she doesn't come back? She has to, right?"
"That girl standing next to me is carrying a severed pony head mounted on a piece of wood."
"Maybe if I'd just tried har-- wait what"
... slowly her head turns towards Mayu, simply staring at her for a moment before taking one very, very deliberate step towards the wall of the elevator.]
Um. Ma'am? What... are you doing? [For a moment the sheer absurdity of what she's looking at is enough to shove the entirety of her introspection to the side for the moment.]
