[10] || [The Life and Times of the King of Evil] || [Open]

Characters: Ganondorf and you.
Setting: Music Floor, Second Tower, Cafeteria, Research Library and around Room 02-16.
Format: Prose or action, will follow.
Summary: A regular day in the life of an evil overlord. In the first prompt, Ganondorf is having a particularly bad time with the music room and its annoying instruments choosing to play on their own. The second prompt is about Ganondorf training and the third one is just coffee time. In the fourth prompt he is protecting the Violet Research Team from monsters while trying to study science and understand exactly what this is all about. The final prompt happens in in his room, where Ganondorf tries to open the secret elevator as a part of his master plan to take over the tower.
Warning: Ganondorf himself is a warning, but there should be nothing too evil in this post. Fighting monsters in the training and science prompts, destruction of musical instruments in the first prompt. Will edit if anything else comes up.

Music Room (Floor 28)
1) As per usual for Ganondorf, the floor he spent the most time on was the music floor. He hated many things, but he certainly didn't hate music-- Especially the music he composed or played. You could find him in the music room playing the same instrument he always played: The pipe-organ. He was playing various musics, some of them dramatic or evil sounding. Some, surprisingly, sounded sad and melancholic. Of course amongst what he played was his immortal hit. At least while he was playing music, he wasn't ruining anything, except maybe the ears of those listening.

2) The music room was not always a haven of relaxation, however. Aside from the eventual monsters, the instruments themselves were annoying at times. On a fated day, things did not go as well as they usually did. As the king of evil stepped into the music room, the piano started playing on its own. Nothing abnormal, but this time it played in rhythm as he walked. Exactly a note per step, as if the piano had decided making a fool of him was a good idea.

"..."

It continued even as he reached the pipe-organ. This did not amuse him. And given recent events, he wasn't in the mood to put up with the tower's usual foolishness. He immediately went for the piano (the notes grew more and more threatening the closer he grew to it) and crushed it with his bare hands, putting an end to this 'madness'. Alas, as soon as Ganondorf headed back for the pipe-organ... A xylophone suddenly started playing the notes in place of the piano.

... This was going to be a long and painful day.

Training (Second Tower - Floor 75)
As any respectable King of Evil, Ganondorf happened to train to keep his powers and skills in shape. That, and killing monster was a good way to let his anger and hatred out without having to make the half of the tower that didn't despise him yet hate him. Well, "slaughtering" was probably a more appropriate word than "training" in this case. Most monsters didn't stand a chance against him and were quickly reduced to lifeless corpses, be it through his powers or sword techniques.

The most powerful monsters offered somewhat more of a challenge, but even then there were very little risks for one such as him as long as his powers remained active. So his training didn't only consist of fighting monsters-- He was also making monsters fight each other.

Most specifically, monsters he created of all pieces using his powers against those of the tower. So you could see him either slaughtering monsters passing by, or you could see him on the side looking at two Darknuts fighting each other: one of his and one of the tower. The Darknut in his employ was identical to that of the tower, with the difference of his armor being entirely black as opposed to red. Furthermore, his darknut was wearing a large red cape: his monsters had to look imposing after all.

Cafeteria (Floor 01)
Today Ganondorf came to the cafeteria solely for the sake of coffee. He didn't care for the alcohol. Half the tower was probably happy to forget how miserable and pathetic their lives were through the beverage generously provided by Riki, but he didn't need that.

Coffee however, was the superior drink and he was making sure to drink it. And stock questionable quantities for the future. So you could see him either drinking a cup of coffee, or taking whatever was left to stock it for his personal use.

Science | Violet Team (Library - Floor 19)
[Open to everyone, not just to violet team]
1) Sometimes when monsters appeared and was about to disturb the researches, Ganondorf sent his shadow to attack and destroy the monsters, Phantom ganon. Most of the time his shadow was more than enough to take care of the monsters, and he only intervened himself when very powerful monsters were attacking. Of course, sometimes he did not do anything and let the others "bodyguards" do their job.

Overall though, Ganondorf didn't cause any trouble to his team. He did his protection job without a fault and remained exceptionally calm, rarely bothering to talk with anyone in the team unless necessary.

2) When not busy playing with the monsters, Ganon buried his huge nose in books. Most specifically, books relating to science. None of this existed back in Hyrule, and while he was confident Sephiroth and the other scientists would end up finding out what he needed, it was getting on his nerves whenever he heard them speak and didn't understand a single word of their scientific jargon.

More than that, he hated it whenever they spoke of their scientific stuff. And so he read the books, slowly learning the basics. Probably very slowly even for a start.

Room 02-16 and around
Ganondorf rarely returned to his room. Only once in a while, since otherwise death awaited him after two weeks or so. Today however he hadn't come to rest, but to explore the potential of the letter he had found in his mailbox a month ago or so. The elevator in their room... This could be a good idea, probably that whoever sent it didn't expect he'd be the one to act upon it. Not that he planned on going to the administrative levels just yet-- This would require more preparations. But he wanted to know if this were at the very least possible.

But obviously, under Riki the glamour worked just fine and the opening was nowhere to be seen. Wonderful. He sighed, no matter. He remembered precisely where the elevator had been in the room, it was just a question of finding a way to open it. On the bed were various monster weapons he had brought back with him, which he would use on the wall in an attempt to open the elevator, even though it was invisible and hidden at the moment.

To begin, he cast many spell on the wall in an attempt to reveal the doors. The spells had no effects, but they caused cause some waves of darkness and small explosions against the wall, which could probably be heard from outside the room. If anyone asked, he'd say he was practicing some attack magic.

[being a professional singer, upon hearing of the music room she was of course obligated to visit it, but finding it in use she remained in the wings; content to take a convenient seat on a drum and quietly wait until the big man on the pipe organ had finished his piece.

Don't mind the midget in black casually letting her axe swing in time to the music.]

He has an audience, far away enough to not get in the way, daggers out in case any monster got too close and needed disposed of. She was impressed, though she knew already how powerful Ganondorf was.

A monster skittered towards her and daggers flashed as she fought, losing sight of Ganondorf for a moment.

Funnily enough Nesir fought a lot better when she had not been bitten and affected with apathetic poison. She killed the monster with a slash to the throat and smirked at Ganondorf, glad she hadn't messed up something so simple.

[Ganondorf. With his nose in a book.

Sephiroth pauses several feet away when he sees this unusual sight. The size of the book looks almost ridiculous compared to the sheer size of the troll king. The leather-clad man also has a book in hand but clearly wasn't expecting Ganon to be spending his time reading - what looked to be-, one of the more simple science texts. Silver crowned head tilts to the side curiously for a moment or two.

Either way, he's returning his own book to a shelf nearby and so Sephiroth then proceeds to do just that.]

[Sephiroth slips the book, a more biological title, back onto the shelf at around his head height as Ganondorf speaks.

Hmph. He can't help but to slightly snort at the question. Of all the questions to ask, trust Ganondorf to pick one of the most difficult to explain - especially to someone perhaps not so aware of the grander scale of atom-theory.]

Because empty space is the true illusion of psychics. There are vast fluctuations of energy continually going on within this so-called 'empty' space.

[Worlds within Worlds within Worlds. This is a concept Sephiroth knows well - perhaps even more on a personal level than most could claim. Sephiroth turns towards Ganondorf, a silver eyebrow slightly raised.]

So then, you might ask yourself, what happens to the atom when you apply said intangibility to it. Though. [Hmph.] Magic and Science do not marry well together.

Is that a third Darknut watching the other two? Or something else. Something grey, massive, and knightly is observing the brawl with great interest indeed, or so it would seem.

Nesir smirked, trying not to show that she was happy with the praise. She shrugged, "It do be meaning I do be having melee and range weapons. I did be beginning to train with a sword in the temple, but did no be getting very far, and can be using a bow if necessary." Don't ask her to use a bow, she's more likely to shoot herself, or Ganondorf than any enemy.

"Only in slaying them, though information can be victory."

The glare is returned by the steady, baleful gaze of the war-helm, the red glitter of the autosense eyes giving him an almost ghostly affect.

[exploring is terrifying in this Tower, but at least it's something productive, in a way. it's too soon for her to have established any kind of routine to keep herself busy and she's not the type to sit idle, so Aqua pokes her head in.

she came in right at the moment he smashes the piano and gasps, but does nothing. as she watches, she hears the xylophone and observes its syncopation with the stranger's steps. how odd.

she steps inside warily - which was a mistake, apparently. a triangle somewhere in a far corner starts doing the same with her own footsteps. she tries stopping experimentally a few times, or changing her pace, but it continued to dog her.]

Is this...all this floor does?

"I can be throwing daggers as well..." She left her complaint there, because she didn't want to argue. She knew it was important to learn a range of weapons.

"I will be." She didn't have a bow though, and though she could probably make one it would be rubbish.

InuYasha, too, rarely came to the dorm levels of the tower and only did so for the required sleep needed to sustain yourself in the tower. The demon thought of it stupid, but there was nothing he could do about it. He still never went to his collar check ups either and thus was forcibly taken the next day anyway. DETAILS! Given that their routines barely crossed each other, this was the first time InuYasha picked up Ganondorf's scent. It smelled like pork. Along with the scent was the sound of the explosion his keen hearing also picked up.

Damn it, just when he was thinking about sleeping in his room too.

The demon marched over to where the explosion came from, though he wasn't expecting the unfamiliar scent to be with it. Without much consideration the demon kicked open the door to the dorm room.

"What's with the noise?" Because it was his business now. The demon was noticeably grouchy, and so good luck, Ganadorf!

[There were certainly more eye-roll worthy questions Ganondorf could have asked that's a fact.

On Gaia, magic and science are much more closely affiliated. Whilst Materia grants magical powers it's still something that could -mostly- be chalked up to science. Mako and Lifestream both being physical, measureable elements to a certain extent. Only that exact process by which Materia had it's magic summoned from it couldn't quite be quantified, thinking about it. Something Sephiroth hasn't found himself doing for what seems an age.]

Magic and scientific observation are very much closer in a lot of ways on my Planet. I should imagine this is something that is different world to world.

[Music wasn't really Henry's thing—not because he didn't like it, but he just didn't hear a lot of it growing up where he did. That didn't mean it wouldn't attract his attention, especially when some of what he was hearing seemed so sinister.

He sure as heck wasn't ruining the ears of this mage as he steps in and makes himself comfortable on the floor, ready to listen as long as he was allowed.]
