"Maybe one day they'll even decide they're actually looking out for our well being and give me the rest of it."
She never used to be sarcastic back home, but eight months in a place like this will change a person. On to the more pressing matter at hand though.
"I don't know how much of the Tower you've explored so far, so you might have already figured this out and I apologize if I'm telling you something you already know, but this is less of a safe haven and more of a prison. Run largely by crazy people and at least one complete monster, the latter of whom is in charge this month. Any questions, sir?" No point sugarcoating the situation, with a uniform like that he looked like he was probably military, and honestly she wasn't in a good enough mood to try and pretend this place was anything other than a hellhole.
