"Report."

Also, she was pretty sure she had a rock in her boot.
"Report? Report what exactly?"

Veronica shrugged her shoulders. "Don't know where to start really. One moment everyone was talking with one of the admins, the next we were running for our lives while everything was exploding around us. I managed to escape, but ended up trapped alone in my room.
And then... weird things started happening. I'm not sure I can really explain them."

"Well, first the power went out. Nothing really bad, there were still back up power, and I could see in the dark. But then the sounds started.
I kept hearing... footsteps in the halls, even through everything was caved in. Claws scratching on the doors, someone telling us to be quiet... And when I tried to call for help something replied and said that 'no one can help anyone.'
And once, at the end of it, something under my bed growled at me and disappeared." Veronica shifts nervously in her seat. The thought that she was trapped somewhere... possibly with a ghost....

"And you saw nothing, I take it?" He tilted his head back in thought. "What about before hand, when the explosives went off, did you notice anything off?"
no subject
"Can't say that I did. Whatever it was made itself scare pretty quickly. Before was pretty calm as well. Although..."
She paused in thought, tapping her fingers against the wall. "Those explosions shouldn't make sense. They went off in places too close to people in the tower. There's no way someone could just sneak through and set them up without someone noticing."
no subject
"Then there is the amount of work, space and know how to make all of those explosives go off exactly how they did. A little too much for anyone present in the tower to pull off." And that's where the conspiracy for him starts.

All sides had to be considered. That's what didn't make Veronica a conspiracy theorist. "Maybe another admin caused it?"
no subject
"It won't be the first time that an architect attempted to destroy, or cripple his creation." He paused for a thought. "Or it could be someone else's doing. It wouldn't be the first time an admin attacked another admin."
no subject
She frowned, first there were resistances, now the admins were fighting themselves. This tower could come down on itself any day.
"If it was Riki, he could be trying to gain our support or something. But maybe it was another admin, possibly the next one in charge."
no subject
"Either way, I'm fairly certain that our favorite architect may have had a hand in this. Or may have been the target."
no subject
Veronica nodded. "I suppose either way, he's had a hand in it. The only problem is, what do we do now? The admins have all disappeared again."

She regarded him. "I hope that you're going to do something to prepare as well?"
no subject
"Do whatever it takes. Party hard and fight even harder."
no subject
"But yeah," she got up and slowly made her way to the door. "You have a point. I'll work on that."
Veronica stopped at the door, turning back to the guy laying on the bed. "You know, you're going to have to show me your face eventually."

And she's out the door, laughing to herself as she leaves.
