He couldn't help but give a noncommittal shrug at that, splashing a bit as he shifted while treading water. "Even if I did die, it isn't really a big deal. This isn't a real body, and it's only a death as far as my perceptions go. Who knows what is really happening there?"

"I suppose I'm still new enough that I need a bit of excitement in my life," he finished with a laugh. "I still don't see why everyone's so wound up about these things. The month isn't over yet, though... something may sweep in and silence me."
