"Is that so? Maybe you should join me and have your memory checked," she counters, with an expression equally as innocent. She'll still argue that he's not saying anything asinine or inane, though. This is more along the lines of banter.
Banter she's enjoying immensely--if that grin she gives him as she returns his nod with a small bow of greeting is any indication. Because she's sitting, the bow's a little awkward, looking almost as though she's trying to faceplant into the food, but she pulls it off (she hopes). "It's nice to meet you, too, Jade." And how does she thank him for not being formal by addressing her as "Miss Fujibayashi"?
