He hated it; the disgusting loss of autonomy, the inability to control his surroundings, the constant knowledge which hovered in the back of his mind that this possibly could and probably had been done to himself at any time, him none the wiser... The teenager loathed it with all of himself. It wasn't that he had anything against menial labor; but to be engaged in those sort of tasks against his will when retrieval units could do just as well really felt like Jason and Ruana were simply rubbing salt into the sore wound.
