Summary: Riki's offered a way to help keep the Tower powered a little longer. Obviously this is going to cause a lot of discussion and debate so let's CONSOLIDATE
Warnings: Nothing as of yet. Possibly eventually, so keep an eye on subject lines and I 'll try to change to reflect any developments

[No doubt Riki's announcement would be polarizing, but the instructions themselves were clear: Floor 1 at noon if you want to help out. And if you want to meet people, try to talk them in or out of it? Or hell, maybe even just talk about the revelation on who is behind those explosions? Well, this is as good a place as any for that too.

....I don't think so either. Maybe its time we step back, let them make their own decisions. Right or wrong, they'll learn.

[Her good hand reaches out, the back of her fingers lightly brushing against his cheek.]

Don't be. Eventually we'd get to this point where they'd make a decision and stand firm on it. All we can do now is be there for them, either to congratulate them on their success or catch them when they fall.

[A lot of the tension melts out of him at her touch, but he still shakes his head.]

I'm not at them... just that this happened. That they're asking us to fix their problems after everything they've done to us.

[Fingers move deftly over smooth skin until she's got his nose between the index and middle finger. Giving a playful shake, she then lets go, all fingers curled in save the index, whose pad hovers parallel to the tip of her nose.]

The balance is shifting. So far they've had no need for us to help them with anything. Then Dax came forward. Now Riki. I can't put my finger on it, but that's when everything started to change. I may be on to something or maybe I'm totally off base. I just...have a feeling that this isn't coincidence.
