Note: Most of this thread will be used for fighting Jason. Doing things in the labyrinth that are not fighting Jason is perfectly fine, just use the subthread here!

[Jason moves, when he's really running, something like a spider. Arms shift and twist over each other as he does so, though he never seems to get tripped up on them, and he's quick to respond to any sort of movement near him by keeping away with it. This time, it doesn't seem like he's looking for a fight. He's made it to the edge of the labyrinth, and he's feeling about for something, but whatever he's searching for he doesn't seem to be able to find it, and his frustration is obvious. If there's fear, he's hiding it beneath anger.

He still has his abilities, but he doesn't seem to be able to escape the labyrinth. And, considering everyone else in the labyrinth is alive, he doesn't seem to have his kill switch either.

[Jason is heading in Veronica's direction, but he doesn't seem to be able to see her--it seems her invisibility is working for now. He's traveling quickly, looking to have some specific location he's trying to reach.]

[She holds her breath as he gets close, numbers flying through her mind as she waits against a wall.

5, 6, 7, 8, 9.... now.

Finally deactivating the power, the girl tumbles behind Jason as he passes, preparing to strike from behind. She raised her sword and lashes out at his back.]

[Jason hisses, surprise and pain intermingling, as the sword cuts through his coat and into his back. His arms twist back to try to yank the sword away, but whether or not that's successful he spins around immediately and whips scalpels in Veronica's direction.]

[Veronica's grip on her sword was deathly, so it didn't fly out of her hands just yet. The first blow struck, she jumps back to prepare another move.

The scalpels are a problem, considering she's not wearing her thick cloak at the moment. A swing of her blade manages to knock a few from the air, but two manage to hit her right arm, sinking into the flesh painfully. She hisses quietly and tugs at them.]

[Seeing her grab for the scalpels, Jason doesn't let up on his assault--he backs away but keeps flinging the things at her, aiming now for her throat while she's busy with the ones in her arm.]

[She yanks the scalpels out, drawing blood in the process, just in time to see more hurtling towards her. She brings her arm up and takes a few more scalpels in it. It's worth it to protect her throat.

Gritting her teeth, she yanks those out too and turns invisible. Jason would just have to guess where she was for a few seconds.]
