America's reading abilities, while stronger than those of a human child who appears to be his age, still leaves a lot to be desired, so he mostly surrounds himself in books with interesting-looking pictures. Of course, seeing a girl lassoing a book down from a shelf with her hair is more attention-grabbing to him than the books are, so he leaps up and stumbles over top of his scattered assortment, wariness forgotten.
