eep.

Characters: Ienzo and YOU.
Setting: The lower library.
Format: Either one.
Summary: An unfortunate incident with the sound system.
Warnings: TBA

The first time Ienzo had seen the Unfortunate Network Post, he hadn't caught the "I SEE YOU", or anything of the kind. He probably should have, though, considering it filled the entire room.

Somehow the computer's volume control had been messed with, and the entire floor is now being graced with a loud refrain of "MOMMY, MOMMY, MOMMY" and whatever creepy song that was. Ienzo is trying to turn it off, but he looks more concerned with the fact that it's broadcasting all across the room than whatever content is being played.

[America's nervous enough without the whole library being graced with that clip.]

Turn that off!

[Because this is EXACTLY what he wants to hear right now. Not like this brings back any traumatic memories or anything.]

What the hell did you do?!

[When suddenly, one roommate is scrambling down the hall and picking him up by his shirt collar. Guess who's all healed?]

WHAT THE ACTUAL FUCK DO YOU THINK YOU'RE DOING?

HERE HAVE A CASTMATE

[Well this is kind of really unpleasant. She'd even hazard to say "horrifying". She had been on the first floor getting food, and heard very faint sounds. So she went up a floor, and the sounds got louder.

Which is why she is now in the library with her late master's Keyblade in hand and looking around in a panic, until she sees Ienzo. She accordingly rushes towards him, cringing from the volume as she gets closer to the terminals.]

What happened? [She sounds very worried, and not quite panicked, but at least she's not yelling at him? ...at least no more than she needs to to be heard over the whatever godawful thing that was on the computers.]

FANCY SEEING YOU AROUND HERE

[identity profile] prayerless.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 03:22 am (UTC)(link)
[You can't expect her to not be around anything that even resembles a troubled child.

Her eyebrows furrow and she looks to the terminals. She doesn't use them to respond, though, opting instead for a more verbal and very eloquent:]
What...?

[But that's not important at the moment even though it totally is, Aqua just doesn't have genre savvy priorities. She looks back to Ienzo.] Are you okay?

I KNOW IT'S BASICALLY BEEN A DECADE OR SOMETHING SILLY

[identity profile] prayerless.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 03:28 am (UTC)(link)
[She narrows her eyes at the terminals again.] No. But, maybe we can figure it out. [Man, what in the ocean of worlds is that message anyways?]

Did you hit any buttons? [She's not even sure Ienzo is the one who did this, after all.]

[identity profile] prayerless.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 03:37 am (UTC)(link)
[oh my god that is so loud and creepy. She actually pauses this time to listen to the feed, instead of just hearing it.] ..."mommy"?

[She makes a mental note to investigate this later. It's clearly not being broadcasted live, from all the strange skipping and interference.]

Maybe try selecting it again? [Of course, the closest thing this woman has been to using a computer was the weird alien shit on the Grand Councilwoman's spaceship. You're probably screwed on help for this, Ienzo.]

[identity profile] prayerless.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 03:56 am (UTC)(link)
[They didn't even have computers in the Land of Departure, just magic communication crystals or something like that. She smiles a little when it shuts off.]

There we go.

[...though the smile is somewhat short-lived.] Do you know what any of that was about?

[Naminé's heard the messages by now and recovered enough to go in search of the source of that awful noise... which is probably why she's walking toward Ienzo very quickly right about now. She doesn't look angry, but her expression is rather concerningly grim with more than a little nervousness accompanying it.]

[identity profile] prayerless.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 04:14 am (UTC)(link)
[Admittedly, she's sort of at a loss now that she knows he's okay. Well. Might as well ask and see if he witnessed anything else, even if he doesn't know the context of it.]

Did you see if there was anything else on the screen before...?

[identity profile] lethechained.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 05:28 am (UTC)(link)
[She looks first at the terminal, then at him, about to ask (not demand, ask, although it probably would have been a bit more urgent a request than it might otherwise have been) him to turn it down, but stops herself when she sees his expression. There's a brief moment of silence before she asks instead,] What are you doing?

[identity profile] lethechained.livejournal.com 2011-11-26 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
[Her frown is pronounced, but for now she takes him at his word and steps over to the terminal. If she could stand another minute of that noise she might have asked if he needed help; as it is, she doesn't want to know, she just wants to get that sound to go away. Fortunately for both of them, she's at least familiar enough with computers to know a few things to try, and after a brief period of experimentation manages to shut off the noise.]

Kanaya comes up behind him, looking at the message over his shoulder when the audio starts up, "That's ominous, I hope nothing is going to happen again," she puts her hands on her stomach, as if the phantom was going to come back at any moment.
