Characters: [livejournal.com profile] reverse_destiny and [livejournal.com profile] prayerless; open to others rooming in 1-07
Setting: Room 1-07 (Aqua's Room)
Format: I'll change to suit
Summary: After a rather terrifying experience with a computer that hit way too close to home, Sora runs to someone who's offered comfort. (This is backdated, ahaha.)
Warnings: N/A at the moment, though a possibility of mentioning emotional trauma?

[Whatever had happened with the computers, he's not sure. But it had hit just slightly too close to home, dug up one too many memories to make him feel comfortable. And immediately, he'd taken off, running stairs until he'd finally reached Aqua's room, where he now stands in the doorway, trying to not look as pathetic s he feels.]

[Aqua's sitting on her bed and reading when Sora arrives, and it takes a couple seconds for her to register his presence. When she does, she looks up, and the expression on his face immediately summons a worried look.]

Sora?

[She closes the book, setting it aside so she can give him her full attention.] Do you need something? [He's clearly not okay, so "are you okay" is stupid, and he probably doesn't want to talk, so "what's wrong" is also stupid. Hence her choice in question.]

[She's a bit shocked by the abrupt action, especially considering their last encounter didn't start off too friendly. But she's certainly not going to turn him away. Especially when she realizes that he's crying.

She wordlessly wraps her arms around him, holding him firmly but not too tightly. After a moment or so, she begins to lightly stroke his back in even, comforting motions.

She doesn't know what's set him off, but it doesn't really matter at the moment. Her main concern is making sure he feels secure.]

[She's a little confused by the questions, but she keeps her voice gentle while she asks about it, since she doesn't want it to seem like she's interrogating him.]

Who do you mean?

[She stops short at that, her hand momentarily faltering. It rests still near Sora's shoulder blade for a moment before resuming its soothing movements.]

...I wish I could tell you. [She really wants to tell him that she's sure his parents didn't abandon him, but she doesn't want to risk pushing him away like that when she has no proof. What she's said will have to do for now.]

[His abandonment issues aside, Sora is probably right about one thing, and that's that there's a good chance he won't see his parents again. Aqua can hope for him, but realistically, she doubts it.]

...I'm sorry. [She knows it's not her fault and that apologizing won't make anything better. There's only so much she knows how to say to him, though.]

I'm here for you. Okay?
