Summary: A quiet stroll that ended up rudely interrupted by unexpected guests.
Warnings: Violence against monsters, and possibly people.

[A floor of glass walls. It's a rather relaxing floor, in its own way compared to others. Whenever Minato doesn't want to go to the higher floors, he would found himself here, watching the clouds through the walls.

His headphones was around his neck, playing music out of it audibly enough to him and anyone close enough to him.

Burn my dread

Then, he pause when he heard something. Minato listened to his MP3 enough time to know whether a sound was a part of the tune or not. This sound...was very familiar.

I'll shrug the pain and run till I see the sunlight again
Oh, I will run burning all regret and dread--

Click. Turning off his MP3, his hand reach for the evoker as he glanced around.

Skree.

He looked over at where the sound came from, already drawing out his evoker. His sword was still with him, but his instinct call upon his evoker, instead.

Was that...a Shadow? Frowning, he mentally shifted through his Personas, settling on one as he saw something approaching.

It's a Shadow...but it looked different from the ones Minato saw before. Without Fuuka, he won't know its characteristics, so he have to be careful with his tactics.]

Persona.

[Pointing the 'gun' at his head, he fired with a 'bang'.]

[Minato, you're not the only headphone wearing schoolboy in town! He'd been minding his own business when he saw a group of shadows - well, he's pretty sure they're shadows - going up the stairs. Yosuke's trailed them to this point, and is slightly surprised to see them converging on one young man]

[He is somewhat less surprised when the object in the boy's hand looks just like one he saw Minako use. So, another persona user? Fine by him, he's more than willing to lend a hand! On go the headphones, out come the daggers, and up goes Yosuke into the air with his trademark twirling jump]

Go! Susano-o!

[Cu Chulainn was fighting the Shadows, between casting Mazionga and striking with his lance at Minato's silent orders.

Hearing someone's shout, he glanced over and saw an unfamiliar Persona joining the battle. Behind it was a person, a fellow headphones wearing teenager. Whatever kinship he may feel about being headphones buddies, it's shoved to the side in favour of surviving this.]

[Shadows? It's officially on - Yosuke's been itching for a chance to really cut loose since he got to the tower, and even if you guys are creepy, grotesque and wrong looking, he's going to take the opportunity however he can get it. Susano-o proceeds to start letting loose the unbridled fury of a thousand Magarudynes (or maybe just one or two), and a few lucky shots on both their parts later, it seems all of the shadows are down. Yosuke shoots a grin to his new companion in arms]

Now's our chance! You ready?

Let's go!

[~~ALL-OUT ATTACK~~ With a nod, he draws out his sword and runs toward the Shadows. Minato trust that his new companion would come along.]

Good answer!

[Following the other boy's head, he charges in headfirst with his blades, the fury of their two-man assault kicking up a cloud of dust around them]

Ready or not, here we come!

[Leading an assault like this is familiar, almost comfortingly so. Even with a different team mate, his movements is well practised enough to work with the other boy's. Their assault manage to cut down most of the Shadows, leaving the remaining few Shadows very weakened.]

Almost there.

Nice moves!

[The familiar adrenaline rush, the music pumping through his headphones, the very real danger the enemy poses... it's like being in the TV world all over again, and even without Souji present it's a feeling Yosuke loves. On top of that, between this new guy and Minako, whatever the deal with these other persona users is? They're easy to work with, and more importantly, good at what they do]

[This close to victory he doesn't bother to put much distance between them and himself. Yosuke leaps at one, bringing his blades down on it and watches it dissipate with a poof]

[Rushing up the stairs came a slightly older boy with an odd belt on - he paused at the top of the stairs, finding himself on the other side of a monster - and was that a kid with a gun at his head and flashy lights and-- Y'know what, forget it. No sense trying to make sense of it. Kid is doing something and the monster's after him.

Eiji whips out three red coins, slots them into the belt, and swipes the scanner, activating a transformation (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eGX26kaZ-MQ)...]

Henshin!

[John had happened to be in the area too, reading a very heavy and old-looking book entitled 'Colonel Sassacre's Daunting Text of Magical Frivolity and Practical Japery'. True to the name, it did look very daunting, but John seemed pleased with it -- at least until a bunch of monsters appeared in thin air a few feet away! Fortunately, John missed the bit about Minato pointing a gun to his head, and looked up in time to see a blue-haired teenager and some dude with a lance.. Even if he looked like he knew what he was doing, John set the book aside and leaped an unnatural distance to Minato's side -- backed up by wind powers, of course. A moment later he had a big old hammer (http://www.mspaintadventures.com/storyfiles/hs2/01739_2.gif) in hand and ready to go.]

Come forth!

[Instead of Cu Chulainn, Suzaku appeared before Minato. The legendary bird flaps and spread its wings, as a powerful Agidyne burns away one of the two Shadows.

One left.]

[Well, instead of suicide, Minato's surrounded in a blue aura and a black flaming wheel (http://images1.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20080630224247/megamitensei/images/3/35/Throne.png) appears. A moment later, the said flaming wheel--with some kind of person on it--spins and cast an ice spell on the group of monsters.

Yes, a flaming wheel just cast an ice spell.

Minato glance over when he heard someone's shout. Wait, what--Never mind, battle first, questions later.]

[The said dude with a lance was currently thrusting at the monsters with his lance. While his Persona hold back the Shadows to give him space, Minato held his sword ready in his other hand.

He looked at his new companion, noting the hammer. The boy most likely know how to use it, but Minato's unsure if it's heavy like the bludgeons Shinjiro would use or not.]

They're Shadows. But these look different from the ones I know.

Creepy... [He looked at the 'Shadows' for a moment, then back to Minato.] There are a lot of them. Need help?

Yes. [He's not reckless enough, yet, to take every one of them alone without help. Minato's been fighting them off, but finishing them off was another matter.] Will be glad to have you help out.

[They're on one hell of a roll, and Yosuke isn't about to let it stop. He flips the grip on one of his kunai and rushes the shadow, planting his left foot and twisting his body hard for a vicious spin attack! Several spins later he comes to a stop and the twisted creature formerly known as a shadow vanishes in another poof. Feeling the familiar rush of victory, Yosuke grins and slides his headphones off]

That should do it!

[It's not the strangest thing Eiji's seen, or experienced, so he doesn't seem too fazed by the display. Once the transformation's complete, Eiji calls forth a small buckler onto his left forearm, which is thrusted forward to launch fireballs at the monsters.]

Haaaaaaaaahh!

[After he glance around the room, Minato lower his sword and seem to relax his stance. His guard is still up, for any other sudden enemies.]

Not bad.

[Very satisfied with their work, Yosuke slides his Kunai back where they belong and extends a hand]

Yosuke Hanamura. I'm guessing from your weird not-gun thing you're a friend of Minako's?

[Between the ice spells and those fireballs, a fair number of the monsters fell down. The defeated Shadows dissipated into fine, disappearing mist.

Keeping Throne out, Minato hold his sword and stab, hard, at the nearest monster.]

[Hearing her name, he seem surprised. But only for a brief moment before it's gone, and he accept Yosuke's hand.]

Minato Arisato, and I guess you could say that.

Oh! Sorry, I didn't realize she had a brother! She never mentioned it. ... then again, I never asked. So, does this happen often? Random monster invasions?

Generally, people never asked. [Which is easy enough for Minato, as he kept to himself.

He shake his head.] I'm not sure. It's the first monster attack I've experienced in this place.
