Setting: Dorm 1-13 / Cafeteria / Exploring
Format: Starts action, but will follow
Summary: The tower has another new cerulean blood and she's not happy about it. Note: please specify if you're meeting her in/by her dorm, in the cafeteria or roaming the tower (in which case you get to pick where)
Warnings: Rage and swearing. Violence likely if provoked.

Dorm 1-13
[Anyone who happens to be passing - or to be inside - Dorm 1-13 when Vriska awakes will be treated to a loud, angry scream as she waits rather impatiently for the sleep paralysis to wear off. When she can finally move, there's more swearing as she takes in the unflattering outfit she's wearing. Soon, she'll notice the chest and change into something more appropriate. And it's then she notices the collar - in green, of all colours! Feel free to run into her either in the room or just as she's leaving it.]

Cafeteria
[This is actually Vriska's second visit to the cafeteria. Her last visit ended in the need to throw up so she's back, scowling as she eats some oatmeal and periodically tugging at the collar that just refuses to come off. There's no-one else at her table, though, if you dare approach]

Exploring the Tower
[Once fed, Vriska starts to roam the tower, on the hunt for anyone who can explain what's going on - whether this is a ploy to pull the blue-bloods into line or if something more unusual is afoot. She'll be taking in most of the floors at least in passing, her trusty cutlass in hand, so feel free to run into her anywhere]

--Sopor, like for sleeping? [She looks more interested now, but also grim at that description.] Man, I didn't think it was actually possible for me to dislike this highblood/lowblood thing more than I did before, but look at that, you've proved me wrong.

That's its original purpose, yes. But bit tricky to make sure your new world order sticks when the ones you're trying to shut down are more naturally violent than you are. Obviously poisoning us is the way to go.

[ ............. VRISKA PLS. ]

You didn't bother to read the letter given to you in your room, I assume.

[fabricates]

Oh. You're from that timeline. [She pauses, and she grins in amusement.]

That would make you a lowblood, right? What the hell are you bragging for?

[wwaterboy]

[Scowl] I couldn't personally care if you or the Grand Premier is puttin' their bulge in a meat grinder, trust me.

[guiltapalooza]

[And then belatedly, it clicks in her head. Her eyes fly wide, and she blurts out with,] Wait, you're blue but you're on the other end?

Are you-- you must be from Eridan's world! Seadwellers are on the bottom where you're from, right? [Whoops, suddenly like ten times more excited to be talking to her.]

Then why is it relevant to know the exact nature of our relationship? This wouldn't be his moirail sticking her nose in as usual, would it?

[She just smirks at that]

What's wrong with being proud of being a blue? It's not like you can claim much higher status than me. Highest of the low, lowest of the high, either way there's someone looking down on us so why give a shit?

Besides. My best friend is the Grand Premier. Think that gives me a step up on the other blues.

Was a little bit distracted to worry about reading stupid notes. Probably wouldn't tell me anything I can't figure out on my own anyway.

[Plus, her room-mate waking up shortly after her was a distraction]

[Well that's odd. But not overly unexpected after her conversations in the cafeteria.]

If Eridan's the fin-face I ran into before then yeah, we're from the same world.

[ocariness]

[ Oh okay fine. Link has a large inventory habit of stock-piling anything even remotely important, so have their instruction note about check-ups and whatnot, Vriska. Since. This avoids talking yay. ]

They're claiming they saved you from wherever you were becoming destroyed.

[Vriska skim-reads the note, not really taking much of it in except that at least that explained the collars and at least there didn't seem to be any sort of status basis about the colours.]

Kind of them. What happens at these check-ups?

All I fuckin' said wwas that that's the rumour. I don't givve a fuck, beyond that. [Eyeroll] I really doubt I knoww his moirail.

Probably not personally, no, and believe me you don't want to. You'd think our dear Empress would have better things to worry about than being a tightass about my being friends with Tavros but apparently not.

...[Of course she knows the Empress. This is just frustrating now] Howw the fuck did a musclebound dumbass blueblood like you evver get to be fuckin' bosom buddies wwith all a the most powwerful trolls in the univverse?

[A smug grin crosses her lips and she gives a casual shrug]

Just lucky, I guess. Or maybe I'm much smarter than you're giving me credit for.

[And watch her misinterpret that]

That's him. But could you ix-nay on the insulting nicknames? He's my boyfriend, and I'd be obligated to get all huffy at you.

[Clearly a dire threat.]

[Oh yeah. She's shaking at that threat, Willow. Real threatened here]

Please. That's not even me trying to be insulting. If that's the worst he's ever been called then he's pretty blessed for a sea dweller.

I know that, but that doesn't mean I'm happy about it. That's why I was telling you in advance, [she stresses.]

[She rolls her eye at that]

Fine, jeez. Honestly I don't care enough to come up with anything worse because, wait for it, he's actually not important enough for me to think about all too often.

[guiltapalooza]

That's fine with me. If I have to hear one more person tell me that they're superior because of their blood color, I might have to smack 'em.

That's troll culture for you. Doesn't matter which way the spectrum runs, certain bloods are superior by default. And either way the blues get shafted, which means I'm superior despite my blood colour I guess.

[Modesty? What's that?]

[Being arrogant naturally is a different case than being arrogant because you're racist. One of them is just annoying and not morally reprehensible.

And Willow's starting to get the hint that it's just how Vriska is.] Humans have something similar, and it's a big problem for us, too. But it's technically illegal in my country-- you can get in serious trouble if you discriminate against someone like that. So I just... hate hearing that you guys have to deal with it all the time.
