Ya Ha Fiddle-De-Dee

Characters: Mindang, open
Setting: Floor eleven.
Format: Action.
Summary: Mindfang get bored. Mindfang is pirate. Mindfang steal stuff. Feel free to presume she has taken something from your character's trunk.
Warnings: Potential for violence, language, and creepy flirting. . .

[It didn't take long for the tower to bore Mindfang. At first this manifested in her disappearing as she explored it, every nook and cranny that she could find. Its inhabitants were ignored, even the ones she had shown interest in before, and she found herself forgetting about the network entirely.

And then it had turned into something else. The entire tower explored she took to her old ways, stealing items that interested her. Trunks weren't a match for her and her lock picking skills, and soon she had collected enough to make a small pile in floor eleven. Trolls may notice a smirk on her face as she plays with certain jewellery pieces lifted from her trunk, and others may notice a white dragon headed cane she holds in one hand, her own version, the one lifted from Redglare's corpse.

And then she waits. For the real fun to begin. After all what fun is it to steal if you never get any reaction. And it's even more fun to see these reactions.]

.....hi this is too much introspection

[Her bat was gone.

It was a trifle, useless thing - compared to her CDs, definitely - and she'd snitched it from her school's supply in the first place. But it was also the only physical remnant Sayaka had of Mami. The magic had gone from it a long time ago, but looking at the bat always raised a solemn question - what if she'd made her wish sooner?

...would she even be here in the tower if she had? Her witch hunting days seemed like a whirlwind of activity compared to the months she'd spent here, as blue gets a little blacker week after week. If Mami had still been alive when.. Sayaka was dragged here, she can't help but think they might've took the wiser magical girl instead. She hadn't thought about Mami at all lately, and she feels bad that the reminder was something like this.

It might take her until Mindfang's nearly bored of presiding over her stolen pile for Sayaka to stumble on her, or it might be early in the whole whim - but either way, a human child is scrutinizing the perfectly ordinary baseball bat sticking innocuously from the loot pile. She looks incredulous, and increasingly angry.]

...Where'd you find that bat.

[Sayaka starts when the troll bursts into laughter, an imposing figure, but just human-like enough that she wouldn't raise a sword at them in good conscience. Her eyes flutter back down to the bat, and her grimace resumes. She considers just dashing for it and skipping the small talk entirely.]

It's a piece of polished wood. There aren't any mysteries in it. So can I have it back?

[...oh, so that's the kind of game she's trying to play. Sayaka clenches her fist, debating whether she should really say anything - and what there is to say, really.]

..Gee, let's see. It's something of mine from home. That's simple and easy enough, right? Make sense to you?

[It means Mami and what Mami did for her, she decides. Even if she's had regrets, it's not something she would take back.]
