Characters: Ganondorf and you
Setting: Everywhere in the tower, Cathedral, Art Gallery and Music Floor
Format: Starting with Prose, but will match you
Summary: Ganondorf takes advantages of the situation to spread his roots throughout the Tower, Mafia style. He is also preparing his attempt to take over the Tower's Control Room (see here for more information). In this post, Ganondorf will either:
a) Try to socialize with the tower's people in order to have more relations. He'll be nicer than usual and more prone to speak.
b) Offer his service to those who are in need (there will be a list of offered service at the end of the post if you wish to pick one) without asking anything in return.Spoiler: it's a trap.
c) Try and recruit people into working for him.
d) Try and manipulate somederps strong young people into joining SS Link's group who will attempt to naively bravely break into the pods.
Warning: The name Ganondorf is a warning in itself. Put in the header if you have any preferences for how it shall go.
Default (Everywhere in the Tower)
Ganondorf was purposefully seeking to see and speak with people for once- Both those he met before and those he didn't meet- A radical change from his previous behavior to say the least. As a matter of fact, he needed more relations to have his plans progress and he needed to cultivate his image of a benevolent man whose only crime had been to try and protect his people from a selfish royal family and cruel Gods. Basically, Zelda and the Links were the bad guys, not him. Even though he would say it with more subtlety and he wouldn't word it like that…
Nevertheless he remained discreet about his intention to meet people; he was lurking around the places most people were at, observing what they were doing, seeing what it is they needed most in those dark times for the towers. If they needed food, protection, someone killed- Or even light, it was no problem for him. He most likely could make their desire into a reality. Sparing food and all kind of things those last few months had finally paid up.
So no matter where you are in the tower, odds are that you'll pass by Ganondorf. He's not stupid enough to just stop and start speaking with you out of the blue, but if he sees an occasion to start a discussion he will.
Cathedral (13th Floor)
The only floor throughout the entire tower that wasn't disabled! It was quite intriguing as far as Ganondorf was concerned. And it was the very floor where he had organized the Evil Meeting. It was probably nothing but a mere coincidence, yet it couldn't hurt to look and see if there was something of interest in this room.
If you happen to pass by at this time, you'll find Ganondorf studying the room- Trying to find where the power may come from and why in this room and not another room.
Art Gallery
It was dark, but Ganondorf had with him a small lantern. He could have used his own powers and in fact it was more or less the case as this lantern came from a Poe (ghost-like creature) he had created. He looked at the paintings describing him and his life-
The most annoying thing probably was that all of those paintings more or less made him out for a purely evil and sadistic being. Note, he was proud of being evil, even though he wasn't really sadistic. But that wasn't the problem. It was the image it gave of him to those people. Well, at least they knew not to mess with him, but it would have been a good idea to have, for once, a painting describing the painful and hard moments of his life.
And even when a painting was successful, the great king of evil had a problem with it. This one for example didn't look too bad, but what with the nose? As a matter of fact, every painting so far had that obsession to over exaggerate his nose. Bah. Whatever.
The last painting he spotted shocked him though. It took him five minute to fully realize this was one of his possible futures. By the time anyone would step onto that floor, this painting would be burning. At least, now he knew. Oh, and a painting about the Dark World was burning as well. Two birds with one stone.
Music Floor (28th Floor)
Because even a Great Demon King of Evil could appreciate music- Would you be to venture on the music floor you'd most likely find Ganondorf playing Organ as he so often did, both to kill time and help focus on the problems at hand. This time he was playing was the ancestral song of the Gerudo.
Obviously, from time to time he also played his very own theme song. And as per usual, the closer someone walked to the organ, the more intense the theme was getting.
List of service offered by Ganondorf
What he can offer:
- Food and Water. Mostly, those bars from May that Ganondorf spared. They're a bit old but still eatable and much better than nothing.
- Murder. Got someone you want to see dead? Ganondorf or one of his minions can take care of it.
- Threats. Someone in this tower threatened you and your friends or simply doesn't show you enough respect? Ganondorf can change that. He can make sure whoever harmed or plan to harm you will never think about it again.
- Flash Lights. He has three to give away- If ever you need one…
- Protection. There are many monsters roaming the tower this month. Ganondorf can make sure none ever bother you.
- Personal Guard. His shadow has been divided into ten shadows, every one of the ten looking like a Gerudo Warrior. The Great King of Evil can assign one of them to your personal protection- They're powerful enough and if ever they are defeated, the true Phantom Ganon would be summoned immediately.
What he asks in return:
- Your respect. That's right, nothing else. See the Godfather? Same thing. He won't ask you anything, but some day, and that day may never come, he may ask you a service. Being in his debts is all Ganondorf needs today.
- Your services. Optionally, you may decide to work for Ganondorf. Mostly, the job will be about fulfilling the requests above and going to look for the food, etc in his name.

Music Room
So clad in her monstrous get-up, Eleanor moved about, slow and loud... and then she heard the music. It got louder the closer she got to the music floor, and she grew quieter the more distracted she got by it. By the end of it, she'd forgotten to make sounds at all, so she was a quiet shadow by the doorway, head tilted to the side and body slightly slouched as she listened to his song.
When it wound down to an end, however, she offered muted, polite applause.]
You are a very good player.
no subject
In fact it totally flattered his ego and pride whenever someone told him he was a good player but he wouldn't ever admit it.He turns to her anyway... What the hell was with that suit? It's so- Weird. It's like what those treasure hunter on the Great Sea wear. What a lack of taste. Pathetic. And it looks uncomfortably warm.
Not showing a sign of his thoughts though. Instead he... Smiles. it's nearly a warm smile. Nearly. ]
Thank you. I have spent a lot of time practicing.
[ ie, Over two hundreds years in the Dark World. ]
no subject
[Despite the words, there's a bit of a wisful touch to her muted voice as she looks around. There are instruments here she knows how to play. Not her, but her through them. It's odd and it makes her wonder. Instead, she shakes her head and shifts her weight slightly. The helmet remains glowing a peaceful green.]
Would you mind an audience?
no subject
It doesn't bother me.
[ But before he plays, one simple questions that bothers him a lot. ]
Why do you hide your face? And what is this suit for?
no subject
[She raises her hands to remove the helmet, maneuvering both the needle and the harpoon with practiced ease.]
I find it easier to fight wearing this, than the alternative clothing provided for me.
[Her lips quirk into an amused smile.]
Among other things.
no subject
[ Battle suit in a sense... he could understand that. Didn't make the design any less stupid though. he nodded and smiled slightly. ]
It may be useful in battle, but you look better this way and less hostile. People are easily scared by what they do not know.
[ Friendly advises. ]
no subject
[She shrugs, helmet held under one arm.]
My kindness to them is not attacking first, and most in the Tower are smart enough to understand that. Those who don't...
[She shrugs again, smile grim.]
Those who don't, well, they learn fast, I think. I don't believe in picking fights, but I also don't believe in letting down my guard. Especially considering what has happened recently.
no subject
[ He smiles. That was a surprise, and a good one at that. He hadn't expected her to be into that kind of thinking- Even the King of Evil can make mistakes. ]
Nevertheless, I still would advise caution. There are powerful- And fearful beings in this tower and you would make a prey for them given the circumstances. I have met such beings myself...
I had no difficulty dispatching them and as you say they learn fast, but I would hate for something to happen to someone with good tastes in music.
[ Such people were rare in Hyrule, really. ]
no subject
[Eleanor smiles a thin smile, fingers twitching and repressing the urge to set themselves on fire.]
I have met those before. But the only thing they can do is kill me, and even that is merely a temporary inconvenience in a place like this.
[Yeah, uh. Dying sucks, but hell hath no wrath like the Lamb scorned.]
no subject
[ He nods slightly though and starts playing back on his organ. The Gerudo Valley theme this time. ]
Nevertheless, I admire your way to think. It's unusual in this tower. Most people are either coward, either helpless.
no subject
[She shrugged again and smiled at him.]
I wouldn't go that far, judging people here. They live their lives as they know how, it's what we all do.
no subject
[ He keeps playing. A bit angry as he speaks about this though. ]
In our case, the tower. We could have overrun the fools in charge, if only...
no subject
[Her curiosity is piqued at that last statement though.]
If only...?
no subject
If only they saw beyond mere moral and ethics, beyond their personal enjoyment and comfort. Today we have an occasion to take over, yet do you see anyone acting? No, like cockroaches they run and do nothing.
no subject
[She smiles.]
No, not everyone is hiding and doing nothing, there are those of us who are patient.
[She tilts her head to the side, the angle mildly unnatural.]
Of course, it is foolish to waste a good chance, when it presents itself, but one would need a solid plan to make a difference.
no subject
[ His mile on the other end, fades. ]
A solid plan? I agree. Yet no one proposed anything. Nobody discuss, there is whatsoever no organization.
[ He sighs. ]
no subject
[She just experienced that, she knows what it's like.]
Organization requires trust. To form bonds of trust under duress is hard enough, but then--
[She thinks of what the Grand Highblood had told her. She shrugs.]
But then, there are those who are burdened by people from their homeworlds who only serve to make the building of trust harder.
no subject
[ Why are all the people he met today weird? Okay he shrugs and answers to that too. ]
I am burdened by countless people from my homeworld, it didn't prevent me from organizing and setting up something, unlike the fools in this tower.
[ He purposefully let this out. ]
no subject
Hmm, that's a sentiment I had not encountered before.
[It's a neutral statement, a true neutral statement. She's not judging man, she just doesn't know if she agrees or not yet.]
Oh? You must be as compelling as your music, then, to manage that.
no subject
[ He chuckles and ends his current music. As compelling as his music, heh? ]
I am a King. I know how to speak to people and lead successful plans.
no subject
[She laughs a little.]
I look after my own, but my own aren't here. Not in a way that could put them in danger anymore. And I don't care if they're weaker or stronger, they're mine. I've found I also like helping people, as I was taught kindness, but it's something I do because I want to. If the weak need protection, I will give it. Or maybe I won't. It's my choice. I belong to no one, and no one can make me do anything I don't want to. I'm not responsible for anyone else other than myself.
[She shrugs again, blinking.]
You're a King, I was a Messiah once. I no longer make choices for others. I'm my own person. You could say my only goal right now is freedom, and possibly a chance to ensure the people who did this to me never get to do it again, to me or anyone else.
[That was not a bloodthirsty statement at all. Please ignore the fact her hands are on fire now. She's got a bit of an anger management problem.]
I just want my freedom back. I will have my freedom back, no matter how long it takes or what cost I must pay for it.
no subject
I see.
[ It's already a lot for him to say right now, okay. He goes back at his organ. This time playing a melancholic version of the Legend of Zelda theme. ]
...
If you want freedom you should get ready to fight for it. You are not free and you will not be as long as you have that collar around your neck.
no subject
[She smiled.]
Everything worthwhile must be fought for.
