Bitty meeting 2 (all kids welcome!)

Characters: Romeo, any under 14 year olds and any adults who want to troll them
Setting: where you are; optionally include a time
Format: room 5-13, afternoon
Summary: Meeting two of the bitty brigade.
Warnings: perhaps mentions of June, and sleepers and stuff but maybe not because they might just avoid talking about it.

Romeo had made a post on the network and also told any kids that he had passed about the meeting today, they were meeting in room 5-13 which was empty and Romeo hoped that more people would come this time. That all the awful things that had happened would have finally made everyone realise that they needed to work together.

He set the room up in a similar way than last time, the beds in a circle with the trunks as tables. He had the list he had written and the notes from last meeting.

There was also a birthday cake leaning to one side. Romeo had gone a bit... overboard with all the decorating but it looked tasty if a bit messy. He had promised Ken after all.

There were also bowls of half melted ice cream and a pile of apples. Romeo waited for people to come.

Elian walked in after he managed to clean up from his work. He wasn't much for parties, but the prospect of meeting others his own age did show some promise, especially if he could see Amalia there. Nervous, he wiped his hands on his jacket. Dressed in his HOLY uniform, the 4'6" 14 year old didn't look much older than a 10 or 12 year-old. The baggy clothes certainly gave away his height quickly.

He took a seat in the corner after acknowledging the proprietor of the party with a small nod and a faint, shy smile. Always prompt, it was a habit that he had a very hard time breaking even if it was for something he didn't really like.

Romeo turned when he heard a noise and grinned at the kid who entered before bouncing over and offering an apple. He wasn't that much shorter than Elian. "Hello! I'm Romeo are you here for the meeting?"

--Sayaka was true to her word that she stole some time to drop in, but she bustles when she comes in, sitting down heavy on one of the beds near the center of the circle. She looks somewhat more tired than usual - like her eyes are hollowing out a little from too much time spent staring. She gives her usual wide smile, though. "Well, I made it!"

She was here in her usual digs - school uniform, newly repaired by Kanji not that long ago, so it looked neater than it did last meeting. And, as always, a peculiar ring on one finger.

Romeo grinned at her, he had been waiting for her before he started, and he saved her a bowl of ice cream though it really wasn't more than a melted mess in the bottom of the bowl by now. He clambered over the beds to give it to her, he was barefoot since his shoes had outgrew him a few weeks ago so he didn't have to worry about his feet on the furniture. "I'm glad you're here Sayaka!"

Ken headed inside, spear with him as usual. He looked tired, but otherwise all right. He smiled slightly at Romeo, and looked over at the food, pausing when he saw the birthday cake. ... Wait.

"Is that..."

... Oh. He had forgotten Romeo had said that he'd make one. This was kind of embarrassing...

"It's for you Ken!" He grabbed Ken's hand and pulled him over to the cake, "I hope you like it. I made this as well."

He handed Ken a drawing with a sheepish look, "I'm not a very good drawer but happy birthday!"

Sonata pops her head in the door, assessing the situation before walking on in. Her head turns this way and that, as she takes in the occupants of the room.

"There's a meeting? Sonata heard there was a meeting! A meeting for what?"

Romeo grinned at the girl poked her head through the door. "There is! It's a kid meeting, for us all to help each other because sometimes the the tower is scary." He bounced over to her and handed her an apple. "Come in!"

Rose didn't really have any idea what this was all about, but it was a meeting and usually meetings are pretty important. And this was a new place and all so maybe it was mandatory? She didn't know. But she was thirteen so that meant that she was required to go right?

With curiosity she edged into the room, looking around real quick. Oh, there was a cake and apples and it looked kind of neat with all the beds and trunks arranged like that.

"Salutations. Is...is this where the meeting is? I'm not intruding on anything I hope!"

"Hello!" She wasn't required to be there, Romeo was one of the tiniest people in the tower and not in any position to force people to do anything, but she was very welcome. "I'm Romeo, this is where the meeting is! Come in do you want an apple? Or ice cream?"

Dave actually didn't come for the meeting itself. Honestly, he just wanted to check up on Romeo. He met the kid briefly during the month they were stuck in the pods, but hadn't really kept up with everything.

It looked like the kid was doing fine though. He isn't sure if it's to save face or anything, but he feels like Romeo wouldn't be very good at masking upset like some of the other Tower inhabitants. "You're looking pretty chill today."

Romeo looked up and grinned as he saw Dave. "Dave! You're okay!" He scrambled over the beds to hug Dave, probably almost knocking him down in enthusiasm.

Kanaya arrived a tad late. She hadn't RSVPed on the network in the first place, at least, so it's not like they would have been waiting for her. The only person she thinks she recognizes is the human girl with blue hair -- Kanaya recalls that she'd caused quite a bit of trouble for Jason at the end of one of the weeks.

She noted the food with curiosity. This looked more like a social event than an organization.

"Hello," she eventually greeted, a tad unsure. "My name is Kanaya Maryam. I saw the post on the network about a gathering of the youngest residents of the Tower -- am I in the correct place?"

"Hello!" He smiled at Kanaya, he recognised her though it was another her he had been friends with. He was used to that though and was sure that this Kanaya was really nice as well. "You're in the right place!" He was glad that more people had come to this meeting. "Come in, do you want an apple?"

It had been a while since Feferi had seen Romeo, and checking in on him was almost more important than the meeting himself. When she walked in, she gave him a warm smile, taking a seat on the lower bunk of one of the beds.

Meeting start

Once everyone had arrived and been given apples and ice cream Romeo stood up. "Hello everyone! Welcome to all the new people. First of all does everyone want to say there name so everyone knows them! I'm Romeo!

Also it was Ken's birthday ages ago and it was ruined so we should celebrate it today. I made cake that we can all have and everyone should say happy birthday to Ken okay!"

When it was her turn, Kanaya raised a hand in greeting. She had said her name when she entered, but she wouldn't argue with the proceedings. "Kanaya Maryam. It is a pleasure to meet all of you."

She wasn't sure what a birthday was, though. Was it kind of like a wriggling day? It seemed to be a personal holiday such as that. She cast Ken a glance (or, the one she thought was Ken) and offered a polite, "Um, happy birthday."

"Last time we started making a list of good adults and those we knew weren't good. I added some more but if anyone else knows any they can add them." Romeo took out the list and a pen to hand round.

Ken just stared at the list for a moment. "Jin's not a bad person. He's kind of a jerk sometimes, but he's not bad..."

Leader

"We still didn't pick a leader last time so we should do that this time. Everyone should say the name of the person they think would be a good leader and then we can do a vote!"

He went first. "Ken."

It had been a tough choice between Ken and Sayaka for him, but he knew Sayaka would soon be an adult.

Wait what? Ken just blinks in surprise. "Huh?" Why would anyone... oh right he was supposed to say a name.

"Um... Sayaka?"

"What about you, Romeo? You've gotten us through two meetings already."

Seems like a natural choice to her.

Ken sits up a little straighter as he speaks.

"So we all know that the Tower can be really dangerous. Some of us can fight, and some of us can't. I think we should start training each other, so the ones who don't know how to fight can start being able to defend themselves, and the ones that already know how to fight can learn different ways of fighting that might be better for different things."
