Characters: Gimli and YOU
Setting: (Wrecked) Workshop floor.
Format: Starting with action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Gimli's doing some scavenging to pass the time. Dwarf jokes with be met with a Dwarf axe.
Warnings: None to begin with, except maybe cranky Dwarf, but by now that's a given.
[The place is in shambles. He's not used to destruction being so thorough, so... careful. Except for when he went home, much like Gandalf did, but that was besides the point. Gimli looks around, wondering if anything about this will be salvageable or useful somehow. But, he supposes, someone ought to investigate.
So should your character venture anywhere near the workshop, you'll find a dwarf rummaging around the debris, poking at this or that, and maybe trying to organize the remains.]

[He offers the boy a grin.]
Can't sit around just waiting for things to fix themselves. It's not how I do things. So I'll try and see if there's something I can fix here.

Very well, but I don't want you out of my sight! Look for tools and such, but don't try to move anything on your own.
[He grumbles a little.]
The last thing we need is for anyone to get buried.

Ah, there's a good lad with a good pair of eyes!
[He moved over to see what Romeo had found.]
Now, let's see what we have here...

No, not to move it. But you can help me collect them. I can raise this.
[He knocked on a slab of rock getting in the way.]
So you can slide in. Sounds good?

[Gimli keeps an eye on him, seemingly untroubled by the debris he's holding up. Ah, blessed dwarf strength, makes things easier.]

Very good job, laddie, do you think you've got them all?

Just a minute, now. We should see what you pulled out.
[Gimli nodded over to see what kind of tools they were and how useful they might be. He turned to Romeo again. He likes the boy, he doesn't want to make him feel he's being pushed aside.]
Do you recognize anything here?

[Gimli picked up the hammer, weighting it in his hand. It was light enough for a human to use easily, so that was good.]
The hammer's in good shape, and the saw can still be useful. If not outright repared.
[He then picked up the wrench, again, weighting it in his hand.]
Ah, I have seen them use this, it helps twist things and screws them into place. The will be useful. Now, before moving onto another place, let's put them somewhere they won't get buried down again, shall we?

Then he scrambled back up.] Shall I look for more sir?

[Gimli gives Romeo a smile and then goes back to moving debris, seemingly enjoying the work.]
