Characters: Suzaku and Sora (AU)
Setting: Their room and then the media floor.
Format: Either
Summary: Suzaku and Sora bond as roommates, and find new hobbies that don't include killing things... (at least... not real things...)
Warnings:
Suzaku was sat on his bed reading a book that he had found in the library. It was strange, since the age of fourteen he had been a soldier and he had always been preparing to fight, fighting, or recovering. When he went to Ashford he had juggled his school work with his duty to the military. Now, there was very little to do. He had been given a job here in this tower as a pool cleaner, but it did not take much time.
After all the horror he had seen, all the cruelty he had witnessed here boredom seemed like the most insignificant complaint. They were still trying to fight of course, but they were waiting for Signless to finalise his plan.
Of course Suzaku didn't wish to be attacked by monsters, or be sent to strange versions of his world, or... or any of the horrors that he had witnessed. But he found it strange, to have so much time that was his for the first time since he was ten.
