all these logs up in here
Characters: orphaner dualscar and whoever!
Setting: anywhere / everywhere, you pick
Format: i'll match
Summary: just him screwing around
Warnings: possibly language and violence, will be updated as needed
[option a: insert floor here]
[in which dualscar is literally on any floor you wish him to be. there will be a reason supplied, yes. feel free to bump into him in the hall, have him walk in on a movie you're watching, or even bother him at a meal in the cafeteria.]
[option b: floor six]
[the forest. certainly enough to do here, one would think. if someone were to stray far enough from the outer rim of the forest, they would begin to notice fallen beasts of all sizes scattered without any particular pattern. but dualscar doesn't stay near any corpse for long, however, though it's likely he can be found looking through his crosshairs at new prey soon enough.
or have that nearly blinding beam of light, easily spotted several hundred meters away, strike near. whatever the case, the orphaner has missed his job annihilation: parental figures or not.]

She's experimenting with something, but trying to get magic to make something physically lasting... well, it's not something she's done before. It isn't going well.]
Darn it! Stupid metal. This is why I grow plants, not make swords. [She sighs and sets back from the table, moving to stretch, when she notices Dualscar (wherever he is, nearby).
Willow freezes, eyes going wide. He looks exactly like an older Eridan; it's uncanny, and she has no idea what to think.]
no subject
he'd only observe momentarily before moving on, if it weren't for her sudden gawking. he holds her gaze with a glare for a few seconds, before speaking.]
Can I help you with somethin'?
no subject
Who are you? You look... really similar to someone I know. [She's heard the word ancestor before, because Sollux has used it; but she's never seen the Psionic, wouldn't expect ancestor to imply marked up carbon copy. What she's really wondering is if this is some weird, adult Eridan.]

But today, there's a rather unwelcome visitor. She scowls as she catches sight of Dualscar.]
Unnecessary, don't you think?
no subject
he raises his gaze from the crosshairs, proceeding then to give her a good lookover.]
Your insolence? Surely.
[and slowlllllllllly turning that gun towards her, though not quite much else yet.]
no subject
And that is an overreaction.

His shame is only compounded when he sees Dualscar. Like he wants that jerk to see how he's fallen. Now it's just a matter of trying to pretend he's invisible.]

Furbeast monkey. [ape-like in nature that they were, it was a given to refer to most humans as so. the addition of "furbeast" was a new one, though.]

What he DIDN'T expect was to be nearly shot by a beam of light, squawking and rolling to the side, the brim of his hat just a bit warm from the shot.]
Wh-what was that!?
no subject
he halts just before the other, gun already pointed down at him.]
What manner 'a creature are you?
no subject
Wh-who're you...? [Just gonna hunker down, head lowering between his shoulders to hide his face more behind his collar and hat.]

one minute it's quiet, then suddenly out of nowhere, there's a loud sound like a small meteor hit the fucking floor next to the table dualscar is sitting at. shitty clown probably jumped from who the fuck knows where, intending on trying to surprise the sea dweller or something........]
no subject
though it does have its (allegedly) intended effect. he very nearly falls from his chair, silverware clattering noisily as its dropped. and he grasps the edge of the table as he whips about to face the cause... and positively glowers.]

That doesn't, of course, stop her from looking up as the adult sea dweller passes and sneering at what is, to her mind, a fin-face playing dress-up in the jewels of the elite.]
Nice costume.
[Will she ever learn not to mouth off to her superiors? All signs point to no!]
no subject
his own sneer had already been evident.]
I'd mind your manners, wench.

quietly, he slides his crosshairs from its strap at his back, and holds it steady as he continues. with the amount of strikingly odd lowbloods he's met in the tower (read: all), chances are not something he's willing to take any longer. funny, a few months ago this would've made him laugh to even consider.]
