Well, maybe not exactly. Sure, the Adephagos was a very real and very looming threat, but had they really failed so quickly? And if they had, how had someone saved them and... Brought them where? To a whole new planet?

It didn't seem to make sense to Estelle. Neither did the fact that they'd apparently taken the time to redress her only to give her back her clothes in the trunk at the foot of her bed, which she'd quickly changed into. Or that they'd given her back her weapons, which she'd scooped up immediately.

Now she was wandering the Tower, looking as though she isn't sure whether she should prepare for an attack or try to wake up. If someone had rescued her, they'd certainly rescued her friends, right?]

Oh, well... The blastia does all of the work. I couldn't use my artes without it.

...ah. I still don't knoww wwhat a bastlia or an arthes is, though.

The world I'm from is filled with aer, a substance that makes up every living thing. A blastia takes aer and converts it into an arte, which can do anything from healing to creating water to making a barrier to protect against monsters. The core of the blastia-- [Here, she taps the little red jewel on her bracelet.] --uses a formula to convert the aer into whatever arte you want it to perform.

[He nods along, though he's not entirely getting all she's saying.]

Doesn't that mean that there's... aerth here, if you can use your powwers?

There must be. I can't imagine anything surviving without it.

I'm sure you could do it, too, if someone took the time to teach you! Not everyone can do the same artes, though.
