Even if he did recognize the name, Preston didn't show any outward reaction towards it. Instead, he just settled on the relaxed look on his face. Which was more do to him being both tired and bored than anything else. One would think that meeting someone wearing a diving suit that had a light projecting from out of the lense would be a bit creepy. And they're right, though for him being kidnapped and having god-knows-what being pumped into his body, was also kind of creepy.
