the dream is over, but the nightmare's just beginning...
characters: Eleanor Lamb & YOU
settings: Dormitory Hallways & Stairs
format: action tags to start off, but I'll match your preference
summary: there's a... thing in a diver's suit, with what look like harpoons or really scary needles at its wrists, roaming the halls. Do come by to say hi.
warnings:I warned you, bro, I warned you about those stairs! None yet, will be added as necessary.
[Eleanor awoke to a panic. She calmed herself as she tried to make sense of the situation, though the letters left by her (?) bed weren't much help. Trapped. Again. She refused to believe it just yet. Fortunately for her, she found the mismatched Big Sister suit her Father had managed to assemble for her, still in functional condition.
She would not be trapped. After all that had happened, after tasting freedom, Eleanor Lamb was not going to take this lying down.
So she suited up with ease and determined, prepared to explore the place. She would find a way out. She would. So there she is, steps heavy along the corridors, with a distinct clank of metal, as she makes her way around, carefully studying the structure and built of the halls. Like her father has taught her, she's not out to kill innocents, but she will fight, if fighting is what's necessary to recover her freedom.]

I will not hurt you, if you let me go.
[The voice is muffled somewhat, coming directly through the helmet.]
no subject
Heh, and here I all thought you were a motherfucking brainless thing that all roamed the hallways. Guess I was wrong.
no subject
I could say the same.
[Muffled by the helmet, the voice is rather indistinct in gender, though perhaps the slim figure hints at it. The lights behind the portholes remained neutral yellow, however.]
Are you in charge of this place?
no subject
Unfortunately, no. You won't be all so motherfucking lucky to be running into any of them.
no subject
I understand. May I assume you have been brought here against your will as well?
no subject
You may. It's all just a bad motherfucking joke, all this noise.

She's about to puff away, unless you want something else?

"Er...hello?"
no subject
"Yes?" The voice is muffled and the gender indistinct, though it is clear who it is addressing. For lack of anything better to say, Eleanor adds: "Who are you?"
no subject
"Oh, um Private Preston Marlowe."
no subject
"Are you in charge of this place, Private Marlowe?"

The head swiveled to the side to look at the end of the corridor, before it turned back to him.
"Have you been here long?" Still clipped, still mostly lacking a noticeable inflexion. Perhaps it's the helmet, perhaps is Eleanor trying to hold her anger in check.

He just got here recently too, and he's a bit concerned, you see. He turns to Eleanor, tilting his head, vaguely aware she... is not a normal human, he is sensing. ]
Aren't you a sight? Why, for a second, I assumed you were one of the things from here!
no subject
No, I am not "one of the things from here." Who are you?
no subject
[ WHOA THERE, Eleanor. He'd have stopped the needle with his fingers, of course (you see, he is stronger than he looks), but thankfully the suited... girl... stopped. Alright then. ]
Well, now that that's settled, you can call me Demon Lord Ghirahim. ... Or just Ghirahim, really. The title is somewhat for show as of late, considering, so I'm not particularly fussy about it.
[ Shrug! ]
no subject
[Eleanor cocked her head to the side, almost unnaturally.]
How magnanimous, for a Demon Lord.
no subject
Yes, I know. I am nothing if not kind to most people who don't bother me, of course. I won't hold your attempting to kill me against you, either~! It's nice to see someone with some courage around here.
[ He smirks. ] I also know that you won't be finding your way out of here so easily.
Though, you may try, if you'd like! It would be amusing to watch, at any rate.
[ That needle, dear, is not going to help you much! ]
no subject
I dislike wasting my time.
[...yeah, she didn't like this guy. She would not attack first, but that didn't mean she wouldn't feel some satisfaction bashing his face in.]
(no subject)
...sob, I didn't want to cut this short, but it's not IC for her to stick around. OTL

[Ienzo doesn't come from the right time or place to identify it as anything like a diver's suit, so his first instinct is to consider that this is another monster that the Tower fabricated for them -- but yeah, it looks like the thing is looking around, with the now-familiar body language of a newcomer. It seemed to be inspecting the structure of the place, which he supposed was unusual, but...]
...have you just arrived?
[Suddenly, there is an eight-year-old walking down the hall towards you, Eleanor.]
no subject
Oh hey, so these are the mythical little brothers.Eleanor looked down at the boy, and then bent her knees into a crouch so he was eye-to-porthole with her.]Yes. Do you live here?
no subject
...what exactly are you?
no subject
[She's slightly taken aback by the question, however. She wasn't entirely sure how she was supposed to answer that. Was she human? In some ways, yes, but not entirely. Not with that... thing inside her. Was she a monster? Her father had taught her the most inhuman monsters were the ones that looked the most human-like. And that only her actions could define her, properly.]
...what do you mean?
no subject
[Yeah, no philosophical musings today, sorry. He's just behind the times.]
no subject
Yes, I will grant you that this technology has been known to be elusive.
