towerofanimus | So you wanna be a boxer?

Characters: Romeo, Terezi, Ven, Signless, Dark!Sora, Link (the female one), Frankin Stein, and open to anyone else who would like to train a tiny child to fight, or just bumps into said child on his travels!
Setting: Many many places, pick one!
Format: I am going to start in prose but will match you!
Summary: Romeo wants to fight so he can beat the bad guys! Obviously all these threads are going to happen on different days etc but I am putting them together so I don't spam! Also if you're too busy atm or want to wait until after the event don't worry, I just wanted to put it up and am happy to backtag etc! Also if I missed anyone I'm sorry feel free to find him anyways!
Warnings: Potentially language, I will add as things come up.

Romeo had been trying his best to keep his spirits up. The Midnight Game hadn't helped, it had just made him more sad and angry at the bad people. But he couldn't stay being sad and angry because if he did then the bad people would have won. He couldn't let them win. He might be small and weaker than the bad people but Psiionic had been right, he had lots of friends and they could help him!

[for Signless, room 2-08] He went to see Psiionic first, he hadn't seen him in a little while and wanted to see how he was anyways. He knocked on the door of room 2-08 hoping that he was in.

[for Terezi, forest floor near the staircase] After getting lost here with Ienzo Romeo never went out of sight of the stair case, where he could escape easily. But he had picked up a stick and was busy attacking nearby trees with it. He might not be strong but if he hit the bad people with sticks then it should hurt them a little bit and might save his friends.

[for Ventus, room 1-16] Romeo hadn't seen Ven in a while, but he found his room easily enough though he had never visited it before and knocked on the door. Ven had told him he would teach him magic, and seeing the little bit of magic that Ienzo had been learning Romeo thought it could help him beat the bad people who had brought them here.

[for Sora, floor twenty] He was wondering who else could help him, he had to get good really fast if he was going to have any chance of saving Molly and the others that the bad people had taken, he had his stick again and was practicing on imaginary enemies.

[for Link, the meadow] Romeo ran through the meadow Piccolo on his head. He spotted Link, the man who wasn't an elf but looked like one anyways. He waved and skipped over. "Hello mister Link!"

[for Frankin Stein, room 1-07] Romeo knocked on the door bravely. He had been told that there was a lady who lived in this room who would help him learn how to fight if he asked her. Even though she was an adult Romeo was sure she would be nice, he smiled brightly when the door was opened.

[anyone else, anywhere] [Romeo on any floors, either practicing fighting or just meeting people. If you play a character who looks like a warrior he might ask for help.]

Stein regarded him calmly as he rushed towards her, grabbing the boy by the shoulders right before he would have landed his attack. She pulled him closer, using his own momentum to throw him hopefully back down onto the ground. "Lesson One: When facing off against a bigger, stronger opponent, use their weaknesses against them."

Romeo landed on the floor again and clambered back to his feet. Not apologising this time since she had told him not to.

"What weaknesses miss?" He tried to think of what they might be, but couldn't think of anything. People who were bigger and stronger than him didn't seem to have any weaknesses.

"Could be anything. It's something you have to look for." She thought for a moment. "With me, you could try scratching the stitches on my face, breaking my glasses, pulling the hem of my labcoat somewhere to try and get me off balance... Alternately, putting someone a person cares about in danger is liable to function as a weakness as well."

Stein smiled warmly. Sure, she was kicking the kid's ass pretty effectively, but she was still a teacher and she still had an epic case of Mama Bear Syndrome. "Try again?"

All those things sounded really really nasty things to do, especially the last. He wouldn't want to hurt anybody who hadn't hurt him first! He pressed his lips together but nodded, he could do the other things, even if they were mean. After all the bad people had hurt his friends first, so he could find their weakness and beat them!

He rushed at her again this time grabbing out at her coat to try and pull her over.

She didn't immediately fight back this time, instead letting him pull her onto one knee. Stein didn't have much of a reason to not at least let him gain some confidence in his ability. But at the same time, she wanted him to realize that it wasn't easy to win a fight usually. So while he was busy grabbing her labcoat, she was busy grabbing at his wrists.

Romeo was glad he managed to pull her down, he struggled against her when she grabbed his wrists. He pushed forwards trying to make her fall all the way down. Though he would fall with her, unless she let go of his wrists because he was stuck and couldn't get out of her grip.

She fell to the ground with a smile. "At least now you're getting more creative." Unfortunately for Romeo, that also meant that Stein wasn't going to go so easy on him any more. She rolled backwards, dragging him along for the ride by his wrists, basically with the goal of tossing him across the room.

Romeo grinned at her, glad that she was pleased with his fighting and continued pushing. He was soon thrown off balance falling into the floor and sliding away from her as she threw him. He slid to a stop. It hurt a lot but he was determined. He didn't hesitate this time though rushing at her again, trying to step on her toes.

He stepped on her toes and Stein's face widened into a smirk, mostly because her feet were protected by the rather thick boots she wore. She lifted up the foot he was standing on quickly, hoping to toss him off balance again.

Romeo stomped as hard as he could but it didn't make any difference against her boots. When she lifted he wobbled and fell, but grabbed onto her coat again, trying to take her down with him.

She laughed, somewhere between a good-natured chuckle and a maniacal cackle, as he dragged her back down to the floor. "Good, good, you're getting better at this! Your soul sounds so determined."

Languidly, she slips out of her lab coat. "Next lesson: Most advantages you gain will only be temporary."

Romeo grinned at the praise, he was determined! He wanted to do his best so he could learn and beat the bad people! He frowned when she took her coat off. But nodded, it just meant he had to find another advantage.

He paused a moment before rushing at her again, grabbing her arm again.

Now that he was showing some real spunk, Stein was holding back less and less. As he pulled she twisted around, elbowing Romeo in the face with a look that could only be described as sadistic glee.

The elbow connected and Romeo was knocked off his feet again. He cried out once but then was quiet and struggled back to his feet blinking. His face hurt but it was not going to stop him. He rushed at her again, this time attacking her legs and trying to push her over.
