AGONY! I Destroyed the World?!

Setting: Room 1-05, dorm halls.
Format: Prose to start, will follow if you want it different.
Summary: Lina wakes up and puts two and two together to equal potato. Also, this is going on amidst all the stuff with the chocolates, so feel free to make her a target.
Warnings: Lina herself merits a warning, especially when distraught. And she's very distraught.

Lina snaps awake once the sleep paralysis wears off, then stumbles around the room for a few moments while she attempts to get her bearings. This... This wasn't where she was. This wasn't Sairaag.

There wasn't any kind of obvious noise or anything that gives the indication she was anywhere nearby, either - Copy Rezo's use of Zanaffar's power would definitely be able to be felt if she was near the battle still. However, a quick look out the window prompted Lina to remember what Sylphiel had told her - that the Giga Slave, the spell she had been casting before waking up here, could destroy the world. And that world outside the window didn't look like much of anything.

Was this Hell? Had she actually botched the spell when Sylphiel tried to stop her...?

No. That can't be right, can it? Lina shook her head, taking a steadying breath before running toward the door. "GOURRY! ZELGADIS! AMELIA! SYLPHIEL!"

"Holy--!" Mimio doesn't have much chance to think beyond that and get the hell out of the way, and he's quick to dart out of the way- though the very tip of his tail isn't safe. He catches the smell of singed fur, and sees the damage, before he rounds on her again.

"Hey, ya ain't gotta try ta roast a guy! Look whatcha did ta my tail! D'ya know how much of a pain that's gonna be ta fix?! Ain't like repairs are easy!"

"Well, you don't have to call attention to such sensitive subjects! It's rude! And when you insult a lady like that, you'd better be prepared to deal with the consequences!"

Lina folds her arms, scowling for a bit before what he said sinks in. "...repairs?"

Mimio almost doesn't hear her, fussing at trying to brush out the singed mess and see if it looks bad. When they go in for those collar things maybe he can convince them to fix the singed bit...

"What kinda lady... ya can't jus' say 'I'd rather ya not mention that' or somethin'?" He mutters to himself mostly, before looking over to Lina with a scowl. "Yeah, repairs, I don't think I stuttered."

"Are you a golem? Or some kinda doll? _{That'd explain the impact when I ran into you...}" Now Lina's scooting close, peering at him and attempting to poke him.

Ohoho, no, Mimio doesn't want her poking at him. If she tried to set him on fire, he's not taking any more chances, and he frowns. "I'm kinda a doll, yeah. Robot's prob'ly closer ta th' mark, though."

Aw, he moved. Lina pouts slightly at that, but not for long, as he used a rather unfamiliar word.

"Robot?"

"Uhm, yeah." He finishes smoothing out his tail, and looks over at her in confusion. "Yanno, bits of wire an' metal an' circuitry, computer programs an' th' like? Ringin' any bells?"

Lina's head falls over to the side a bit, then she shakes it.

"You may as well be speaking a foreign language there, guy."

Mimio sighs, and he thinks of the best way to explain it.

"Basically, I'm an advanced humanoid machine. More or less. What, ya don't got robots where yer from?" It's a genuine question, and his irritation is pretty well forgotten by this point.

"Nah - we've got magically animated dolls that look like people, and sometimes a summoned golem kinda looks like a person, but I've never heard of a 'robot'." Lina shrugs.

"Well," Mimio says finally, "now ya have. M'name's Mimio. What's yers?" Really, he wants to know so he has a name to connect with the face other than 'not-guy with a flamethrower of sorts'.

"Guess so," Lina answers with a slight smirk. "It's Lina - Lina Inverse." Having a name is definitely in Mimio's favor, if he was considering using that to refer to her...
