Summary: The Summoner is walking around. Creeping happens, or maybe it doesn't.

[He does this once a day, you know? Twice if he’s particularly bored. Doing sweeps of an area has not been his job since he was a cadet, but he falls into it like an old habit, trailing through each floor, inspecting the rooms for changes, noting things like it might help him some day. The difference is, of course, in the tower there is very little urgency to it, no officer to report to at the end. Sometimes he imagines he does it just to keep from losing his mind, but that would be admitting the damned place is getting to him]

[Which it’s not, okay, just so we’re clear. No no, he’s fine. He does this because he wants to, because maybe, if he’s very very lucky, he’ll stumble across the way out]

[Spoilers: he has never been that lucky]

[She tightens her grip, running the pad of her thumb over her knuckles. She finds herself oddly fascinated by the texture of the callouses on his hands, but when he speaks again, she seems to snap out of it.]

I don't know.

[Her voice is plaintive, almost desperate, but she is telling the truth, even if she's playing it up to manipulate him. She draws closer, biting her lip and averting her eyes.]

Will you stay with me for a little while?

[hhhghghlkajsdkl rather acutely aware of her hand moving against his, and the way she draws even that little bit closer. And the note of desperation in her voice? So either something has gone really terribly wrong, or he's... missed a step somewhere in here]

Of course, uh... yes. Do you... [Hm. Squeezes her hand] Did something, happen...?

[She doesn't respond, just takes one last step forward and rests her forehead against his shoulder. He's warmer than the Highblood. It fits him, she thinks, and she likes it much better. Being this close to him makes her heart race in a way she's definitely not used to, and she pulls her hand away to wrap her arms around him.]

[HHHHHHHH OKAY. So something has gone terribly, horribly wrong. That is the only explanation for this!!!! Still, he... mostly doesn't hesitate to hug her back? Just kinda... looking down at the top of her head and... hoping she'll explain at some point]

[She stands on her tiptoes, letting her hands trail down his sides as she looks up at him. No one has ever been as nice to her as he has, and maybe that's the reason she can't seem to get him out of her head. After a second or so of thought, she leans up to kiss him, gentle and hesitant.]

[whatlsdjflkjsdf where are those hands even going??? Eyes widen a little as he looks back, though he makes no motion to stop her. In fact his only motion through this whole thing is to lean back ever so slightly when she goes to kiss him]

[...and even that is only very slight, and only before he realizes what she's doing. Oh no........... Kisses... back...? Also quite hesitant!!! WHAT IS HAPPEN]

[As soon as he reciprocates, it's like flipping a switch. She brushes one hand along the side of his neck and kisses him harder, suddenly painfully aware of his pulse against her fingertips. It makes her head swim, and she can't quite seem to press herself close enough to him.]

[WHAT. WELL OKAY THEN. Drawn into the kiss and... lsdkjf you can't just spring make outs on him like this, he thought this was conciliatory!!! But look, he's kind of a slut? So it's not like he's going to actively object to kissing an exceptionally hot woman???]

[His hands kind of... shift around a bit since his initial reaction was to OLLIE OUTIE but... once he decides he's cool with this? They settle again, helping out with that whole... pressing close enough thing. Getting... into... this???]

[Yes, this is hot and steamy and all, but she's distracted by the sensation of his blood pulsing just below his skin. She wonders what it would look like splattered on her hands and the floor, and the thought makes her shiver, distracting her from their little make out session as her claws dig into the soft skin of his throat. It's not enough to injure, but certainly enough to hurt, and she doesn't even realize she's doing it.]

Wh-- [LKSJDF jerks back! HEY. Only the motherfuckin Highblood is allowed to claw at him during make outs what even in the fuck]

[Frowning] Coleta...

[She frowns when he pulls away, making a grab for his arm.]

Stay still.

[Oh okay... Stays where he is, glancing at her hand on his arm and letting the frown deepen]

What are you, doing.

[Her grip tightens, and her voice stays soft, though there's a ragged edge to it.]

Nothing.

[Of course, that only matters until her eyes start flashing.]

[NOPE. He's been around enough lowbloods, around enough psionics, to know the flashing eyes when he sees them, and his threat response is rather horribly well-toned. So the moment he sees the lights in her eyes, his hand shifts, darts up, moving to snag around her throat]

Don't lie to me. [...and that comes out quite a bit more vicious then he means it to. Don't mind him, there's just a kind of horrible pain in his chest here. He really... doesn't want to hurt her... )8]

[She smirks as his hand tightens around her throat, a horrible expression given the circumstances, and uses her free hand to pull both wands out of her hair.]

You never do listen, do you?

[WOW EMOTIONS!!! His breath catches in his throat for a second, but only a second, before his claws find the pulse in her neck and his free hand moves to grab her wrist. There is almost a note of appeal in his voice, even as his hands tighten]

What are you doing Coleta. [Please stop...]

[She laughs mirthlessly, and the sound is disturbingly flat as she tilts her head, regarding him.]

What are you, my moirail?

[Her voice feigns that high, pathetic note she used earlier.]

I promise I'll make it quick.

[Ow....... ow, fuck that. That shouldn't hurt that much because??? She isn't his moirail!!! LORD WHAT ARE HIS EMOTIONS EVEN DOING]

[Let's his claws pierce her skin, face going... deathly still and completely flat. He will not die for you, Coleta]

You are mistaken, if you think I would let you.

[She rolls her eyes, apparently bored with their conversation, and drops her grip on his arm to shove him back as hard as she can. With the force of her majyyks behind the push, it's a lot stronger than it should be.]

[Alright. Forceful push. Probably a telekinetic of some sort. Which sucks! There are very few things more annoying then a good telekinetic in a fight, but he's dealt with worse]

[Stumbles back, wings opening to keep his balance, and the moment he's got his feet back underneath him, he's pushing back towards her, claws making a ragged sweep through the air towards her chest]

[She steps back, though clumsily because she wasn't expecting that, and his claws open up long cuts on her collarbone. She blinks at him, looking utterly betrayed--she didn't think he'd actually retaliate. Of course that's ridiculous, considering she attacked first. She scowls, raising her wand and sending a crackling blast of energy at his torso.]

[Yeah that was pretty dumb, brosis. This is a guy who kills his matesprit. He really don't let his FEELINGS on a certain subject get in the way of things]

[Still, he's hardly expecting the MAGIC BLASTS, so while he certainly does his best to dodge, he's still caught across the side and WOW FUCK IT HURTS??? Stumbling away, hand immediately going to his side. Ow... ow ow ow fuck. FUCK]

[Too easy.

She's smirking again, but she doesn't pause to savor that small victory. Instead she steps forward, trying to harry him back as she sends another arc of majyyk toward one wing. Might as well keep him from getting away before he tries, right?]

[NO]

[He would rather get hit anywhere else, actually! So his wings snap closed and he turns, catching it across the shoulder instead]

[Aaaand so you get a pained growl for that, and he kind of completely unbalanced himself so there he goes... hitting his knee as he falls. Trying to scramble up to his feet again, and get away before she's got him trapped in a corner]

[In her current state, that is incredibly amusing to her, and she crosses the distance between them to stand in front of him, leveling one wand at his chest.]
