[Kanaya looked around the room, it was much more high tech than all of the other places in the tower. She found herself drawn to the viewfinders. At this point she didn't really believe that her world had been destroyed again, everything about it just seemed wrong.]

[Hesitantly, she looked through the viewfinders. After a few seconds she gasped and stepped back from it quickly]

[Almost blankly:] All of it...

Floor 7
[The water was shocking to find. It reminded her of home in a weird sense, in the way that she was one of the few that enjoyed being outside, Even if it was just a pool.]

[She took off her flats and dipped her feet into the water, letting out a calming sigh as she does so] This is a rather nice change of pace.

Computers
[she fiddles with the machine for a few minutes before decided it doesn't work] Our captors cannot even keep their technology functional. [she taps a few more keys] Nothing.

The computers have malfunctioned and I am not allowed access on to the network.

[She steps out of Vriska's way]

[She's not one to say i told you so but...]

It was working the other day! It doesn't make sense why it wouldn't work now.

[She rolls her eyes and leans back in the chair.]

We never had computer problems back in the medium.

Perhaps someone here broke them. We also had Sollux there to fix any potential problems.

That would soooooooo not surprise me! There are so many computer illiterate humans here, it's kind of ridiculous!

It's like they all came from worlds without basic technology.

There seem to be other universes here, perhaps some of those cultures do not have what we would consider basic technology.

That's so dumb! How do they even communicate?

How did we communicate prior to our technology being perfected?

As if I would know. All I have to go off of is my ancestor's journal.

Well they are obviously from a time period before ours, where technology is not as advanced.

On the contrary if you were from that specific place than you would not know any better and all of this technology would be deemed baffling and unnecessary.

Probably! Humans are more interested in that fashion stuff anyway.

Because there's no point in it. The one time I actually tried it out, it didn't do anything great.

There is a point to it. Fashion is very important, Vriska. When you meet something the first thing they will notice is your appearance and they will judge you accordingly. If you are dressed sloppily you do not command as much respect.

Oh my gooooooood, nag somebody that actually cares about it. I don't dress sloppily. I just don't see the point in all of the garish crap you like to wear.
