An Outfit Changed, An Identity Reclaimed.
Characters: The Dolorosa and YOU!
Setting: 15th floor, the workshop
Format: Basically whatever, if you want to do chocolate things drop a note here!
Summary: Dolorosa is working with some textiles when she gets interrupted?
Warnings: Possible violence and chocolate plot business.
[ Dolorosa had been working on this dress for a couple weeks now, collecting what scraps she could that fit her needs, but they weren't always easy to come by. It was the veiled cape that had been the most difficult, but she'd finally found the right material, and had gotten the dye to properly take.
It was almost finished, and soon she would't have to continue wearing this silly jumpsuit any longer. It only needed one last addition: her sign. It had been sweeps since she'd last worn it, or even been allowed to see it, but she ever forgot its shape, and so making the thread follow her whims until it took form was accomplished without mistake, and only the slightest pause.
It was a form of therapy, this dress. A reclamation of her identity. Within the hour, once properly garbed, she would once again be fully herself. ]

Strange events conspire periodically here in the Tower. The entities who control our arrival and living arrangements here seem to have some control over these happenings, but are irritatingly reticent on the matter.
[she takes a short pause for breath.]
What sparse evidence I have collected so far suggests that the dangers present in the Tower are a kind of experiment, and we the subjects. To what end, I do not know. Yet.
[she doesn't have a lot of evidence right now, but she's confident in her ability to crack any case with time and effort.]

Would it, perhaps, only be the dangers? Might they be monitoring our progress at all times, only allowing us to operate under the impression of a limited period of rest, when it is in fact a factor itself?
[ She turns and takes up the cloth of her veil, giving the sheer fabric a long look. ]
Could this, in itself, be some result they're making note of?
[ She sets it back down and turns toward Redglare again, one hand moving to her own throat. ]
The only more direct form of these requirements I've yet to experience has been the advent and demanded maintenance of this contraption I've been inflicted with.

[redglare's eyes are drawn to dolorosa's collar. her own is partially hidden by the collar of her uniform, but is still visible if one is looking for it.]
Yes, and interrogation isn't terribly effective when the interrogator is the one on the examination table. It's terribly frustrating.
[yeah, you know redglare has tried getting info out of the scientists that mess with her collar.]

[ She picks back up her needle, still giving Redglare an occasional glance to let her know she's still paying attention, but at the same time, marveling at how a single step on the Hemospectrum can make such a difference. ]

[redglare, for her part, is enjoying having an audience who isn't in a position to rip her head off if she finds the information inadequate.]

[ Bitter much, Dolorosa? ]

Very well then, what do you suppose the common crime is between all the inhabitants of this hivestem?

Well, I haven't any clue, actually. But there must be some consideration which powers the selection process. I would only expected it to be criminal in nature due to the similarities the situation carries with imprisonment. The note of welcome which we were provided on arrival would frame it in a more commendable light.
