Summary: Sollux is out and about, looking for love in all the wrong places.

He didn't notice the hand until it reached out of the bookshelf and clawed at his arm. But the moment he turned to see it, he fell in love. He reaches out, crooning, and takes the hand in his own. It scrabbles at his skin, tugging, and he pets its arm lovingly.

"Hey there...Come on out? Come on, there'th got to be more of you, hmm? I won't bite...much..."

Aradia was hoping she could spend the day with Sollux; what she hadn't banked on was that there would be a rogue arm involved. She makes her way over, figuring anything she could do to attack right now would be too risky with Sollux so close.

"Sollux? What're you doing?"

"Huh?" Oh shit! He blushes and scoots over as if to hide the hand from her view. "Uh, AA! How are you?"

Aradia moves to try and catch a peek of what he's hiding.

"Is that an arm?"

"Uh...yeah. Um, aa, meet my new friend... he hathn't given me hith name yet, actually." He's blushing even more. Also the hand is grabbing at his arm and clawing at it, but he's just gently trying to stroke it.

She frowns a little. "Friend? It doesn't look too friendly to me, but maybe that's just how arms say hello?"

After all, violence is hardly reserved for utter enemies in troll culture and it's not like she's an expert on all the cultures represented within the tower.
