Warnings: I fail to see any warnings being needed but Ghirahim might tag I'm not sure and he's a warning himself so I'll put down "possible Ghirahim sighting" as the warning.




[If you come into the workshop today, you may notice a familiar green garbed elf carving something out of wood! Upon closer inspection, it kind of looks like a girl. He chips away, completely focused on what he's doing. Why don't you come bother him! He'll make you something if you ask nicely.]

Um... on the floor with the meadow, I think. There were a lot of them, and they were all very hurt, but I could only take care of one...

He's asleep in my room right now, on my pillow.

[A pause, and he shifts on his feet a bit.]

And we're both named Link, it's okay. There's a lot of Links in this tower, I think. He's a Link that comes from the sky, and I'm a Link that comes from the sea, and there's one more that comes from the forest!

[Taiki was finally well enough to leave his room, things had been okay for a while but then there had been trails of blood and everyone had gone crazy again, trying to cut off each others limbs.

He hadn't been affected, but the blood had made him sick, he still was sick. But he could walk and he was bored so he had come to the workshop. He smiled at the man who was there, wondering what he was making.]

[She still hasn't fully healed from her chocolate-induced encounter with Samus, and she's still a bit stiff when she walks, but there's only so long one can rest before they become restless. She's no seamstress, but perhaps sewing up some leather armor would be a low-key and worthwhile use of her time.

Zelda wanders into the workshop, and, well, considering how Ghirahim hijacked his network post earlier, she's a little worried, but... he seems to be alright. She clears her throat to announce her presence before greeting him.]

Good afternoon, Link.

[Minami had come down to look for materials on making a naginata.

What she found? Completely shocked her. Unless this was an alternate, then--]

Weren't you dead?!

[She kicks herself as soon as she says it, but who can blame her? The only time she'd ever seen him had been as a dismembered corpse on Zelda's bed!]

[He studies the picture carefully.]

I can make this, no problem. It will be a few days before it's finished.

[He then smiles at Gamzee.]

Gamzee? That's a name I don't hear everyday.

[He's quiet for a second, frowning a bit. But then he smiles.]

I have a feeling she will.

[He nods. At least the human (?) has some confidence, a statement which cannot be made for him.]

...I've never seen wood made into statues. Usually it's for furniture or weapons.

[Link noticed the other and smiled back, waving a little.]

[He stands up and quickly gets a chair for her, setting it next to the table he was working on and then motioning for her to sit.]

Good afternoon Zelda, I haven't talked to you in a while.

I suppose it does.

[He's never been a very... artistic type. Even the degree of creativity needed to design robots are very restricted by what is physically possible and most efficient. Not exactly the optimal mindset for creating little wooden dolls of people.]

...What is her name? The person you designed this after, I mean.

[That startled him a little and he drops the knife and little figurine onto the table in front of him.]

I-I was, yes.

[He sighs and picks the tool and wood back up.]

That was quite a while ago, I believe. How did you find out?

Her name is Zelda.

Zelda? [Odd. Zelda... doesn't sound like a human name. In fact, it sounds like a perfectly reasonable troll name. And this person here is clearly... not a troll. But-- the name sounds too much like a troll name, maybe, because it's almost a bit familiar.]

[Oh. Wait. There was a Zelda on one of the plaques, right? He... may or may not have read every single name in the tower.] That's odd... is there not a Zelda here already...?

There is. She is Princess Zelda, from a different time then I.

[Oh boy, time shenanigans. He knows better than to get involved in those.] Ah, I see-- ...she's a princess?

[Good thing he hasn't met her in person yet! He had no idea that this Zelda person was of human royalty. Even if it was human royalty, he still didn't want to unintentionally disrespect her.]

Yes, she is. The Zelda I know, however, is not.

Interesting, that a princess and a commoner would receive the same name... especially in the same world...

[How gentlemanly! She bows her head slightly in gratitude before sitting, though... that slightly worried look doesn't quite leave her eyes.]

No, recent circumstances have not exactly lent themselves to friendly talking, unfortunately. How have you been?

It is interesting, I'm not sure why they share the same name.

[He sighs and sits back in his chair.]

I have been better. How have you been fairing yourself?

[Yeah, that's what she feared. She frowns slightly, but doesn't press the issue.]

Much the same. [A small sigh.] ... I am afraid this place may be starting to wear on me.

[He gives her a soft smile.]

If it weren't for you and the other two Links, this place would be wearing me down faster then it already is.

[... Averting her eyes.]

I have not done anything deserving of such gratitude.

[She's been utterly useless against Ghirahim, not to mention scared out of her wits by him, and she's no closer to finding a way out of this accursed place than when she first woke up here. It's frustrating.]
