Summary: Terezi is pretty shaken up after being hanged. Hung? Whatever. Come cheer her up!
Warnings: Nope.


[Mercifully, the sleep paralysis doesn't come with nightmares this time. It does last much longer, though, and after about fifteen minutes, Terezi begins to panic and wonder if she's going to be stuck this way permanently. And then, suddenly, she can move again.

She can't handle the cramped quarters of the room, so she begins to wander the tower, absentmindedly touching her neck once in a while. It isn't sore, of course, and there are no marks, but she almost thinks it would make her feel better if there were. She's keeping her nose sniffing for a familiar face, because hey, who knew being hung could shake you up so much? The irony of the fact that she died the same way her ancestor did is also not lost on her.]

[Sollux doesn't want to leave his room. The sleep paralysis sucked hard, especially since it just gave him more time to relive his first second death ever - first in the tower - over and over and compare it in pain level to the first one.

Anyway, he was comfortable with staying in his room and sulking for the rest of the day, but after a while boredom and hunger force him out]

[Unfortunately, Terezi had died after Sollux, so she'd been unlucky enough to watch him be killed. When she catches his scent, she is overwhelmed with relief. Of course she knew he would revive, but it's still incredibly horrible watching your moirail die that way. So of course she grins, catching up to him and hugging him tightly.]

[He's embarrassed and huffs a bit as she hugs him, but turns and buries his face against her neck, hugging her back]

Did you get through it okay?

Not really.

[She tightens her grip, sighing against him.]

Are you okay?

[thekidsare0kay]

...Not really. [He sighs and nuzzles her] I'll be okay, yeah. I mean, what'th a little death and torture, right? Are you okay?

[scalemate]

[She shrugs.]

I will be.

[Then she grins again.]

I still lasted longer than you!

[He grins. Her attitude is making him feel better, and he lifts his head]

You had one of thothe creepy bearth from the beginning, right? Cheater. I lathted motht of the time, even though I didn't get a free pathh.

Captain Cinnamon Claws was very helpful. You are just jealous.

I'm not jealouth. [He grumps, laying his head on her shoulder] I've got one now, too.

Liar. You're always jealous. And mine is still better!

I don't want mine! [Jeez, Terezi. He's still cuddling, though.] You can keep yourth and shove it up your nook for all I care.

[scalemate]

[Yup. They are basically just standing in the middle of the hallway cuddling. Gross! She laughs, though.]

You are so gross!

But you love it! [He laughs and half-releases her, keeping his arm around her waist]

[She rolls her eyes and stick her tongue out at him.]

Nope! Where did you get that idea?

Becauthe you keep hanging around with me!

Maybe I just feel bad for you!

Egthactly! [What are they arguing about? He can't remember. He laughs and gives her a hug] You're the thtupid one. [Most affectionate tone ever on that]

[She giggles in response, leaning into the hug.]
