The Welcomed C/Absence Makes the Heart Grow Fonder

Setting: The Cafeteria, afternoon-ish.
Format: Starts in prose, but I'm fine with switching to brackets.
Summary: HOT DAMN THEY GOT COFFEE IN THE CAFETERIA NOW
Warnings: Fluff-mush, some mildly suggestive flirting, maybe mild swearing depending on who shows up and how things go.

Shoutarou's been busy doing exploring and research for nearly a month, as well as dealing with an eccentric British man taking up residence in his room and replacing Fletcher. The Doctor is a great fellow, but Shoutarou does miss the boy. He does hope he's okay, where-ever he wound up...

However, he would worry about that later. It was time to put the business aside for a bit - he had yet to follow up on Francisca's offer in the library, so in an effort to make it up to her, he had invited her to the cafeteria for coffee.

There was coffee in the cafeteria now.

Finally.

Screw all the other food, Shoutarou makes a bee-line for the coffee as soon as he finds out they have it. It apparently took him ten days to notice. Let's say that the habit of no coffee took root after a full month here, and took root pretty deep.

Once said coffee was acquired, Shoutarou finds an empty table to sit at, notebook out for later writing and looking-over,

Francisca had been pleasantly surprised at Shoutarou's invite for coffee, and found herself at the cafeteria perhaps a bit earlier than the time they'd arranged to meet.

Still, she was patient, so she took at seat and glanced around, waiting for Shoutarou to appear.

The Doctor was just doing his Doctor thing. Being a dork, exploring the landscape, making ridiculous faces, when he spotted his new favorite companion relaxing with his coffee and notebook.

The Doctor popped up behind Shoutarou.

"Afternoon, Sherlock! What are you up to on this fine day...actually I don't know if it's a fine day. Hard to judge the weather while indoors, you see. Of course, the expression could refer to it being a good day, a wonderful day even. Although, as we are locked in a tower, today may not be a fine day in thst regard."

The Doctor paused, thinking this over.

"Soooo, what are you up to on this hypothetically fine day?"
