First Flight (Open)
Characters: Pipit and you!!
Setting: Around the tower basically anywhere you like
Format: I prefer action, but I'll follow!
Summary: Pipit wakes up and... does... everything people do when they wake up.
Warnings:BIRDS None, but I'll change it if I need a reason.
[room 2-06]
[Pipit's not really used to waking up with sleep paralysis or in a home he can legitimately breathe in, so needless to say, he does freak out a little bit when he wakes up - and once the paralysis wears off, he sits up quickly, to get a look at his surroundings.
This... sure isn't his house. It's way too clean.
Yeah, he notices all of his roomies that may or may not be in there, sure - and he'll be happy with greeting them, they all look so young! - but first what the hell is this jumpsuit he's in. Don't mind if he just gets into his tunic because seriously, he's not Ghirahim.
But once he's got everything settled - shield and sword on his back like they should be - he offers up a smile and a wave to those joining him. c:]
Mornin'!
[Yeah; he can ask about this place once introductions are over.]
[Any floor anywhere!!]
[Pipit's going to be wandering the tower for sure, checking every nook and cranny he can get to and trying to get his bearings. And also probably fighting off monster birds on the forest floor because holy hell these things have teeth what kind of birds have teeth. Feel free to run into this Link lookalike in the golden yellow tunic! Or trip him! Or whatever, he really doesn't mind anything!]

You're right. Thank you.
no subject
Pipit lets go of him, steps back once, and opens his arms wide for the Hero, giving him a bright, sunny smile. The Pipit kind that says "no matter what, life is great."
Come give him a hug, you.]
no subject
They weren't the closest of friends, no, but they were still friends and honestly? Link needed a hug right now. He needed one bad.]
no subject
He wraps his arms around the younger knight then, holding him as comfortingly as he can; the kid's gone through stuff no one has to, after all, and it kind of sounds like Pipit's face is the only familiar one for him here in the Tower.
So Link is getting the biggest, warmest, most comforting and brotherly hug he can muster!]
no subject
And yeah, there are tiny, itsy, bitsy tears falling down his cheeks. He lets go of Pipit and rubs his eyes, still smiling and even laughing a little bit.]
I'm sorry, I just feel very relieved to see you here.
[He actually had no idea just how worried about everyone he was until now.]
no subject
Aw, don't worry about it, Link!
You know I think it's bad to bottle things, anyway, so let it all out!
[He is so understanding right now, you don't even know.]
no subject
I do hope this place spares you of any hardships.
[Because yeah, things kind of suck here.]
Oh, and to answer your question about who to avoid, there is one man I know of who you should stay far away from. He comes from The Surface; he's the one who had taken Zelda under the clouds. His name is Ghirahim, he is tall and very pale with silver hair. He wears a whit body suit with diamonds cut out of it and he also has a cape sometimes. He shouldn't be hard to avoid, he's not that hard to find, really.
no subject
Well; I don't look like you or Zelda, so there should be a good chance he'll leave me alone!
[... He pauses then, noticing something off.]
You're unarmed?
no subject
[He frowns a bit. That was someone else he found himself missing. Fi.]
Yes, I arrived here with only a shield and a few other tools but the shield broke during my first battle with Ghirahim.
no subject
[And without another word, he grabs Link's hand to lead him back to his own dorm, stopping only when they're in front of his trunk.]
This place provided me with two of the Knight Academy's swords; my own, and a much newer one! Even though it isn't your sword, it should do as a replacement, yes?
no subject
...are you sure I can have this?
no subject
[He bends down to open his trunk, then - small bird feathers flying out a bit as he does so - before ruffling through it to grab the newer, nicer sword and holding it out to Link.]
I already have one, after all; and it has served me well, so I see no reason to part with it any time soon.
You can't go unarmed if this place is dangerous. I would never forgive myself if I heard a young knight was hurt due to being without his sword.
no subject
no subject
Use it well, alright? Remember to hold this blade with honor, starting now.
It's your first Knight Academy issued sword, after all.
Think of it as a clean slate.
[Your hesitance makes it easy to guess you did something wrong with a sword, bro.]
no subject
no subject
No ceremony or anything, but starting now, we can consider you a true knight of Skyloft!
[
even though they're both still in training.]Or at the very least, I do.
no subject
...I still have a long way to go.
no subject
Link, you give yourself too little credit.
[Yep, that sure is a proud older brother face.]
no subject
At this point I'm not even sure if I should be allowed to wield a blade.
[You have no idea what he has been through Pipit.]
no subject
Or have you done something that makes you feel unworthy?
[Does he really have to re-teach you your lessons on their Goddess and about how she loves everyone and forgives and forgets. :|]
no subject
...needless to say, the word that best describes me at the moment would be...
[A slight hesitation.]
...corrupted.
no subject
Then you just need to do something to undo that corruption, Link.
You know how that works!
You lost your sense of honor doing something wrong; all you need to do is apologize or forgive to regain it.
[Or fight for whomever you hurt but he doesn't really want him to go rushing head over heels into battle.]
no subject
....I don't think I would be able to apologize to whom I have hurt.
no subject
Do you really hate them that much?
[And he's raising an eyebrow then, curious. This isn't like you, Link!!]
