The Doctor is [In] (OPEN)
Characters: Richtofen and YOU!
Setting: 2-04 to begin with, then everywhere else.
Format: Action, but I'll match you.
Summary: Richtofen wakes up in the tower, then decides to explore.
Warnings: Just that Richtofen is insane.
[Richtofen knows something's up the moment he opens his eyes. Not just because he can't move, because that might be a side-effect of the teleportation. No, he's cautious from the get-go because he notices one specific detail about the room he's in...
The power is already on.
Hm.
He sits bolt upright once he's able to move, and looks down at his clothing.] Oh... How quaint. [But he doesn't remember changing...
There's a note. He reads it over, then picks up the second, longer one. Once he's finished reading, he gives a good-natured chuckle.]
How peculiar! [Then he calls out:] You're not fooling anyone, Samantha...
[He discards the notes and turns his attention to his trunk. He opens it, half expecting it to glow and spit out a random weapon, but it's just an ordinary trunk. He rifles through it, pausing when he spots a teddy bear sitting amongst his belongings. He scowls and grabs it, squeezing it so hard for a moment that it's a wonder the stuffing doesn't come out. Then he puts it aside and continues looking through his stuff.]
---
[A quick change of clothes later, and Richtofen is pacing around his room, speaking into a tape recorder.] Log entry 743156. Date: Unknown. Deeeeeeear diary... It seems as if the teleporter has malfunctioned. I've awoken in what seems to be a communal bedroom. From the looks of it, there are others here, but there's no sign of my teammates! [His voice gets higher on that last bit, almost as if he's failing really badly at pretending to care where they are. He knows they're not here, of course, because if they were, the place would smell more like blood and vodka.
Feel free to interrupt him if you want, or just sit by and eavesdrop.]
---
[Later, he can be found wandering the floors of the tower, with a look somewhere between joy and amazement on his face. He seems to have taken a particular liking to floor seventeen, if his laughter is of any indication. He lingers on that floor a bit longer than on the others.]

no subject
[He points to his collar.]
What is this?
[Now he seems pretty unamused.]
no subject
[There's the urge to tap his collar, but resist it.]
And every two weeks, we have check-ups for them.
no subject
[He's really, really unamused. He would prefer not to be wearing any clunky, suspicious fashion accessories without being asked first, thank you.]
no subject
[As far as he can observed.]
no subject
[Richtofen's even more curious about the collars now. He's tempted to break his own - or someone else's - to try and find out. If they're breakable, that is. Doubtful, but it's worth a shot.]
no subject
[He knows the answer is unsatisfactory, but there's a limit to what he does know.]
no subject
I suppose I'll find out eventually.
