First Page.
Characters: Nageki Fujishiro and whoever!
Setting: The Library on the 3rd floor, room 2-06, or the hallways.
Format: I really REALLY prefer action I'm so bad with prose...
Summary: Nageki has finally acclimated to this "being human" thing. Kind of. So he's... hanging out in the library and wandering a little. Not very far, but you know.
Warnings: Nageki being adoradove and potential Hatoful Boyfriend BBL spoilers. Otherwise, nothing!
Library (floor 3):
[ Pipit had shown him the library, so he was quite pleased to get to work with a pile of books on a table, reading them all, absorbing all the information he can find.
Curiously, none of them seem to be on this Tower, though... if it weren't for the occasional page turn, you might not even tell there's a boy amongst this pile of books. But it IS hard not to notice the huge stack of them he's making with each new read one closed and put off to his left... bother the quiet boy? ]
Hallways:
[ He had come back from the library (reluctantly) because he had to eat, of course. Humans didn't just live on birdseed. He's slowly realizing he's no longer a ghost, but it's still a strange thing to get used to, people seeing him, so he's probably not expecting to run into anyone just yet. ... Given that, it'll probably be no surprise if he actually accidentally bumps into you, considering how lost in thought he is. ]
Room 2-06:
[ Nageki is in here laying in his bed, quiet. He seems to be overthinking something, and a copy of a book called "Night on the Galactic Railroad" is in his hands. Something is on his mind, and it seems to be more than just the book. ]

Ah -- Excuse me.
[... it's reflex, even though he's not the one who wasn't paying attention. But, oh well. Does it matter? Nope.
Is... this person okay, though? They seem awfully spacy.]

He hadn't even noticed... o-oops. Maybe he really IS alive. This is too weird. ]
...
[ Nageki is bad at this. I think that's where you say "sorry", dear. Aaaaaa please don't die on him random human he'll feel awful. ]
no subject
Are you okay?
no subject
......... Fine. I'm fine.
[ Hello, I am Mister Antisocial. Nice to meet you. ]

no subject
Um. ]
... I...
[ Am too stubborn to admit I'm new to both a human body and this place? Don't know how to ask for help? Am terrible with manners? Don't know how to socialize? Am worried you will drop dead any second? ]
No. ... No, I'm not lost.
[ He's not sounding too convincing. ]
no subject
Okay. [He'll pretend to believe him.] I'm Link. Is it okay if I ask where you're headed?

Hallways
...! Excuse me.
[Reflex and politeness compel him to say it.]
no subject
... Sorry.
[ He dropped his copy of Night on the Galactic Railroad and the other books he had, though. Atlases, some sort of dystopian fiction piece, and a book about birds in Skyloft he'd gotten from Pipit.
He's. Not very good at this human thing yet, but he does manage to bend down to start picking them up without falling on his face. A mild success? ]

... A picture slides out of one of the books, showing two birds side by side. A small mourning dove, and some other bird--they seem pretty happy, actually. It's hard to say when this was taken, but it looks more like a photo of... two people, than two birds. ]
...
[ He hadn't... meant for that to be seen. ]
You... you're a human, right?
no subject
Yeah, I am. [Judging from the question, the other boy is probably not human. He picks up the photo as well, holding it out to him.]
You dropped this.
no subject
You... haven't run into anybirdie... claiming to have been a bird, have you?
[ Because... he hopes. Against hope, that maybe Ryouta and the others will appear (except Shuu) and be like him, or be safe... ]

But either way, he sees Nageki resting on his bed, with that expression...]
Rupee for your thoughts, Nageki?
no subject
Huh?
[ ... Totally paying attention, yeah. ]
no subject
You've got a very solemn look on your face.
[A pause.]
More solemn than normal, of course!
no subject
... He supposes it must be. ]
I was just thinking... about death.
[ He's such a cheery young bird. ]
no subject
[He sits on the edge of his own bed, unhooking the belt that keeps his sheath on his back and sliding it all into his trunk.]
What about it, friend? I'm sure there's many different things to consider, with a bit of a morbid topic like that.
no subject
[ Only because Nageki has yet to explain his situation. But, still. After all, he should be dead, right? ]
You can see me.
[ It's said curiously, almost as though he's talking to himself. ]
... But you're alive...

Library
(Almost) learning his lesson about being silent, he quietly made his way to the table where the smaller boy had piled a tower of books. His golden eyes peered through the cracks in between the stacks in observation. His position would have probably gone unnoticed if it weren't for the pair of giant horns that stuck out over the top of the books, however.]

A-ahh!
[ What IS that?! ]

Motherfuck, brother, why you gotta be getting to up and all snatch a bro by his fuckin' horns like that?
no subject
[ Oh dear god what are you ]
That they were... on somebirdie's head, I mean.
[ ... Kind of staring. And. Holding a book. Failing to look threatening. What IS this.... thing.......??? ]
