Characters: SS Link and you!
Setting: Floor 10 and floor 25.
Format: I'm starting with action but I'll follow c:
Summary: Link found a chest with a red Rupee in it! But little did he know, that Rupee is actually a monster and it had taken his harp. Since it's very close to him, he stops at nothing to find it and well... needless to say, he won't be sword fighting well for a while.
Warnings: Blood and maybe Ghirahim. (Need a Ghirahim warning on all of my posts.)

[So earlier today, Link found himself a chest. And what would any green garbed hero do when they notice a chest just chilling in the open? Why, open it of course! And what a treat, he found himself a red Rupee! It's too bad he didn't have a wallet, otherwise he'd be able to ke-- did it just grow teeth? He immediately tries to put it back in the chest but he was a bit too late and before he knew it, it had bit him and disappeared, taking his harp that's usually attached to his belt with him.]

Floor Ten

[He had spent all day looking but finally, he found it in the Aquarium floor, inside the water almost all the way across. Well... he could hold his breath long enough, it wasn't that long of a swim. So if you happened to be on this floor, you will notice Link swimming back towards the middle of the room, harp in hand and a shark close behind. Just before he reaches it, the shark bites him. He opens his mouth for just a second to scream but that doesn't quite go well and he immediately closes his mouth before he's breathed in too much water. He manages to get it off ~~by punching it in the snout~~ and gets ~~flail~~ out of the water. He lays on the ground for a moment, breathing heavily. Once he's settled down, he gets on his knees and smiles, holding up his harp with his left hand.

You got your Harp back!

But it'll be kind of hard to play with only one arm...

Yeah, the shark had bitten off his right arm.]

Floor 25

[You may notice Link with his right sleeve tied at the shoulder, bloodstained and a bit ripped. You may notice more that he's practicing sword fighting using his other arm, and he's doing pretty badly at it. He swings to the right and ends up falling over onto himself. Yeah, it's going to take him a while to get used to fighting with his left arm.]

[He nods and tries what he has been told, stumbling a bit but not falling over. A step closer to being ambidextrous.]

[Yeah!!!

He gives Link a smile, before nodding - a motion to tell him to continue.]

You have to master one before you can move onto the rest, remember?

[Shh he is awesome and just does whatever whenever.

He continues, stumbling a few times and almost falling over once but he's starting to get the hang of it. It is still pretty hard without his other arm though.]

... Hmm.

[He's watching Link practice then, hands on his hips. The kid's balance is off without his right arm... His whole right side is probably lighter than he's used to.

It's just a matter of balance, right? Like a loftwing, when one side is heavier, you just have to counterbalance it...]

... Stay here and keep practicing, alright? I'm going to head to the workshop and make something that might help you out!

[He's also going to borrow your sheath - sorry, bro. But he needs it for measurements. c:]

[Oh, okay. He practices a bit more, but it seems like it's taking Pipit a while. He decides to lay down in the flowers and take a small nap while he waits, being a hero was tough. It was tough and no one understands.]

[It's cool bro - he didn't really expect Link to work for a couple hours straight, after all.

But eventually he shows up again, one of his arms wrapped up in bandages and holding something for the hero.

He can't help smiling fondly when he finds the other asleep on the ground, and he sits down on his knees next to him.]

Link - hey, Link! Wake up; I'm back!

[His eyes open slowly and he blinks a few times before hefting himself up and sitting on his knees. He rubs his eyes and yawns a little. Then he stops as he notices the bandages on Pipit's arm.]

...are you okay?

Ah - just a mishap in the workshop, don't worry about it! It's not very safe; I don't recommend using the machinery unless you know what you're up to.

Now here, let me try this one you -

[He unfolds the item under his arm - what looks like at first, just blocks of wood and leather - and wraps it around the kid's armless side; snapping things, belting things, clicking things together until it's obvious what Pipit's made him.
A set of wooden armor, heavy enough to offset his balance issue, and thick enough to provide protection.]

It fits - great! Is it uncomfortable?

[He smiles and shakes his head.]

No, it's fine.

[He stands up and wobbles a little, getting used to it. But he stands his ground and his grin grows.]

This is very helpful.

[He bows, thanking him.]

[Pipit stands up as well, giving him a smile and a nod.]

It's no problem - it's my duty as a senior knight to help you out when you need it, after all!

[Which is Pipitian for "what're friends for? c:"]

[He nods, taking his sword out and trying a few slashes. Ah, yes, that was much better.]

Great - it seems to work like a charm!

I knew it was just a balance problem!

[He moves a little further out of the way then, to watch Link practice a bit.]

Try a spin attack, Link!

[He then tries a spin attack.]

Tyaaa!

[He's a little wobbly but not nearly as bad as he would have been without the new wooden armor on his side.]

[Yep; just as he suspected. It works like a charm!]

Now you can practice fighting with your left arm without too much of a hitch!

[Pipit takes out his own rickety sword now, to practice with him.]

Do you mind if I join you? I've kinda lost half of my depth perception, haha!

Not at all.

[And join him he does!!!
Hopefully not. Hitting him, too. He's having a hard time, okay.]

[even if he hits him, he has this COOL SIDE SHIELD THING to protect him so it's all good.]
