[o1] ♪ Your generic intro post, really.
Characters: Suicide Boy Minato Arisato and whoever happens upon him!
Setting: Fourth floor, probably somewhere around mid-day.
Format: Action tends to work best?
Summary: It was just standard procedure to check his things, look for his team, and check to make sure his Persona worked. ... That just happened to involve shooting himself in the head.
Warnings: Some mild cursing at best, and I guess it probably looks like he's trying to shoot himself in the head. ENJOY THAT MINDSCREW, DEAL WITH IT AS YOU SEE FIT.
[ ... Minato had, in fact, quietly been here for over a day now. When he had woken up, he had read what had been left to him (incredulous, he refused to buy it, perhaps his team was here) gathered his items from his trunk (particularly his MP3 player and headphones, for they were most important, along with his Evoker and his gun and clothing), and had gotten dressed. White shirt, black slacks, his coat, and so on. The holsters for both guns (or rather, one pistol and one gun-like object) were put in their proper places, and both were tucked out sight once he slid his coat on.
... The collar he found very unnecessary and quite irritating--it reminded him of things he hadn't wished to remember--but nothing worse than that.
He had, at first, merely observed the others stuck here as well. He was a quiet, unnoticeable person most times, which was really how he preferred it. Not only that, but he had managed to get a room to himself. He followed instructions well, because he truly didn't like to make much of a fuss. The first day went by without incident.
The problem was a rather unfortunate side-effect to having a Persona as a power was that when using an Evoker, you looked an awful lot like you were shooting yourself in the head. They were modified, bulletless guns that helped the user focus and summon their Persona. He needed to test things out to make sure it still worked here; there wasn't any way around the fact he had to use his Evoker at some point. Better to do it sooner when he believed he was alone rather than later, right? Silently, he took out his Evoker and brought it up to his temple. It had never frightened him before, and to see if his Persona worked outside the Dark Hour would be useful, after all.
Truthfully, it had never occurred to him the ways in which this could look... problematic. ]

Put the gun down.
no subject
I don't see any reason to.
[ Even if it was a gun, he's not overly afraid of dying. ]
Because it isn't a gun.
no subject
No. It isn't.
...what is it then, exactly?
[Still wary, but he's smiling now.]
no subject
It's an Evoker.
[ Does he need to get out the real gun? ... Naaah. He doubts it.
At the moment, he just lets his headphones continue to play. He doesn't remove them, but he does turn the volume down. ]
Why are you so concerned?
no subject
no subject
[ Therefore, you are wrong and weird for being afraid of him dying at all. What is your problem, weirdo. ]
no subject
no subject
[ He is rather unaffected, if simply a bit annoyed, though it doesn't really show from his stoic expression.
But he doesn't feel like arguing. A subject change might be in order here. ]
You haven't seen a girl with red hair around here in a white dress, have you?
[ If Chidori was here, locating the others using Medea would be far easier, after all. ]
no subject
And no, I have not seen her, but I don't know if I would tell you if I had, considering your previous statements.
no subject
... No, I'm not.
[ Well, if Chidori wasn't here (he hadn't given up looking for her just yet though) then finding the others would be far more difficult.
Sighing, the Evoker goes back into the holster on his hip. He rather doubts now would be the time to see if his Persona works, so he goes to glancing through his MP3 player. ]
no subject
Are you new to the tower?
no subject
But I don't sacrifice the people around me. ... Don't get the wrong idea.
[ That wouldn't be right. No one should die before they are meant to. Not under his command. ]
... I take it no means of escape has been found yet?
no subject
[He pauses]
My name is The Doctor.
no subject
Minato. It's... nice to meet you, even if the circumstances happen to be our kidnappings.
[ There is a polite nod here regardless. His tone is neutral now that The Doctor seems to be on the same page as he is. Polite, curt, formal... even if he doesn't understand why he was so adamant regarding his own death. ]
Sorry for the confusion.
[ He motions to the Evoker, of course. Wasn't particularly the most sensible method, he supposed, but it was the only one. ... The feeling of blowing your brains out but it not actually happening was not pleasant, either, but one got used to that (eventually). He'd been through FAR worse.
Quietly, he looks back up at The Doctor. His words are even and measured. He might be seventeen, but he's a leader first and foremost, and a smart boy for his age. ]
... Getting out of here won't be simple. We'll have to remove these collars first. Doing that will be even more difficult.
no subject
As for the collars, be very careful if you attempt to remove them. I caused a small explosion on my first attempt to do so.
no subject
Thanks for the warning, although you... really don't need to worry about me, Doctor-san.
[ He does, of course, sincerely mean it. He does blink once or twice, though. ]
... But how did you know about my Evoker?
[ Honestly, he thinks you're sort of strange, but he's curious how you pointed a screwdriver at him and suddenly realized his Evoker wasn't a gun at all. ]
Sorry for the super late reply!
pfff it's fine /backtags into forever? I WANT DOCTOR CR ;^;
[ Mainly used for shooting one's psyche, to be specific. But you know. ]
All of us have them... I guess I have to warn you some of my friends might not think too kindly if you jump on them about that.
[ Like Chidori is kind of
axecrazy so let her have her Evoker. Jin is explosives happy. And well. Koromaru is a dog but he is sure Koromaru would be fine... Ken on the otherhand... hm. ]Actually... if they do show up here and I don't run into them first, could you tell them I'm still alive, despite that letter?
I WANT MOENATO CR. We can do iiiiit.
WE CANNNN
I'll be sure to.
[ If a way out hadn't been found yet... ]
As well as if I find out anything, I'll be sure to tell you.
[ After all, they were both trapped here, right? They needed to get themselves and everyone else out as well. ]
no subject
no subject
[ He is curious, admittedly. ]
no subject
no subject
... It would seem we're going to be here for quite some time.
[ He sighs quietly. Minato did not have weeks worth of Persona Suppressors with him... but in the off chance that this place carried them, he supposed, he would need to look in the medical areas.
... Which was not something he particularly wanted to do, as anywhere remotely like that gave him a bitter taste in his mouth. Anything like that had always reminded him of the Kirijo group, and he really preferred not to think about them. ]
What do you know about the medical treatments here? I've read the letters, but...
