☾ motion jumpstarts when we touch. (x01)
Characters: Cecil Harvey (
mythgravenblade) and OPEN!
Setting: Starting out on second dormitory floor, and then all around the Tower.
Format: I'll start out in action brackets, but choose either and I'll match!
Summary: After waking up, Cecil's out to check out everything and prod everything in sight. He may or may not actually come up to people.
Warnings: PG; subject to change if anything gets nasty.
[ upon waking, Cecil felt the terror of not being able to move, but forced himself not to panic. He focused on the ceiling above him, noting its drab color, noting that it wasn't Baron stone grey, and it wasn't cream-colored like the draperies that hung above his bed and Rosa's. things to notice numbered, Cecil could only fall back on the fact that he still couldn't move, and, for a split second, a bout of terror at such a foreign feeling filled him. was this Zeromus' doing? where was he?
--he breathed in deep as he was finally able to move, quickly pushing himself up into a sitting position, a hand over the nightclothes he'd fallen asleep with. after checking to see every part of him was alright and could move freely after the terrifying ordeal of being struck still, Cecil found the trunk at the end of his bed and fumbled to open it, and changed into the set of armor he always wore. It was then and only then that he'd noticed the two letters, and read them carefully with hope he could understand what sort of problem he'd caught himself in.
he only just ended his journey in the Overworld, surely this was easy to handle--?
... he read the letters twice over, three times over, and refused to accept it. the thought that Rosa and Kain were dead, the thought that Rydia and Edge and ... his brother-- it was too much to bear. and as a King, he would not give up hope in them. if there was one thing he believed in, he believed in them. the slide of metal against metal rang sharply through the empty room; he took his leave as soon as he was ready, stepping out into the hallway, and then, exploring the rest of the Tower. ]
