Say hello to your new security officer

Summary: Preston's new job.
Warnings: None, unless you're causing trouble.
 

Preston wasn't entirely certain how to feel about the job that had been given to him. On one hand he really did not care for it as it only served to slow down his plans of escape. On the other hand, if he didn't do this job then he would find himself a walking time-bomb. So it was only natural for him to decide that it would most likely be in his best interests to go along with the job. At least until he was able to find a way to free himself from it and continue on his mission to escape.

Still, that didn't mean that he wouldn't take his job seriously if he did catch anyone doing anything nasty. As such Preston still made certain to keep an eye out on the others. He still did not really trust anyone here and for good reason. Not that that would impede on his ability to work with others here, the soldier just did not feel any desire to truly become friends with anyone here just yet. Sure he's met some nice enough people so far, but kindness only went so far. And as a result he figured that everyone he had met thus far were more like, allies by situation.

In fact, not to long ago, he's already heard about murders and people harming others here. Whether or not they were still allies. Which was another reason as to why he felt that he should keep an eye out for the other people here.

Sighing as he came across another panel before entering the code and continuing onto his next route. This was going to be a very long, long day

Oh well now wasn't this a familiar sight? He gave her a small nod and wave in return. "Hey there miss." He called back to her as he continued to do his rounds.

She fell into step with him, steps falling silent as she moved.

"How are you doing? I haven't seen you in a while."

"I'm alright." You know, not exploding. So he really couldn't complain all that much for the moment.

[thebigsister]

"I'm glad to hear that." She nods, because that, it seems is a commodity around here. "It has been... eventful, lately."

[deadliestberet]

"Yeah, I've noticed." Not that it's been all that eventful for him, just for others, outside of gaining a job in the tower. Other than that, all seemed to be rather quiet on his side of things...for the moment anyway.

"Have you found out anything interesting, Private Marlowe?"

[deadliestberet]

"Just that they let us become security officers."

[thebigsister]

"...what?" She sounds genuinely thrown off. "But that doesn't even being to make sense, security of what, the monsters trying to massacre us at night?"
