witty post names are for chumps
Characters: Klara Saburov and ~you~.
Setting: Floor Thirteen.
Format: I prefer prose but will match you.
Summary: Impostress has been known to haunt cathedrals. That there's one here doesn't change the habit.
Warnings: Nothing but being confusing, really.
The cathedral is completely empty.
That's wrong. There were three hundred people in here just the night before, right? She'd seen them herself. Touched their hands with hers, brought them water. It was a pleasant visit that had taken a load off of her heart.
So where were the bodies?
Klara came to a stop at the head of the cathedral, before the (suddenly silent) altar. It was strange not seeing a throne there. Strange, and sobering. This wasn't the cathedral she'd visited, and it wasn't the ruined safehouse. There weren't any horns here, even, and no Executor at the door.
Klara sits down on the floor by the altar, arms wrapped about her legs. The oppressive silence that reigns here is almost comforting.

The first thing out of her mouth is a lie, but a moment of thought actually lends it consideration. There had been a voice, after all.
She unfolds her arms to free her shoulders from the stiff feeling settling about them, and to be able to get a better glance at her conversational partner.
...wow, that's a strange looking fellow.
"But now we're speaking, so my ears are closed."

"What, you got an on and off switch for them under your hat or something?"
no subject
Why are you staring this is how normal people talk. The on-off switch comment sets Klara to absently prodding at her hat, and after a moment, a shake of the head.
"Doesn't seem so. That would be strange, anyway."

Uh huh sureAaand staring even more, with an ever growing critical look and a quirked eyebrow. He wasn't being serious. Was she messing with him, or was she really this dumb?
"Are you some kind of robot or something? Of course normal people don't have switches."

"I can be cut and bleed. Well, maybe. That's human enough!"
Nobody really gets in 'make her bleed' attack range without bleeding themselves, so hence that maybe.

"Glad to know you're not an undead bloodless husk then. Did you remember to take your medicine this morning?"
He should probably stop snarking because she's just gonna keep spinning it like a deluded maniac but whatever that is how he communicates.

See Klara, Jin actually does need medicine and he has already taken it.
Your move, Ms. Plague Incarnate.

She steps off of the raised platform the altar rests on - boots giving a squeak as she does. It's clear she's making to leave.

He rolled his eyes. Yeah he's definitely not taking health advice from this weirdo. If she was gonna go, he certainly wasn't gonna stop her.
