the rain will be gone in the morning...
Characters: Ken Amada and open.
Setting: Floor Fourteen
Format: Action.
Summary: After running into Shinjiro Ken is… conflicted. He needs some space. But that doesn't mean that other people can't bother him.
Warnings: Mentions of death, swearing. Strega which is its own warning.
[Shit. He couldn't do anything. He had run into him, and he hadn't been able to kill him - and how was he able to change Personas like that, anyway? The only person he know of who could was Minato - well, and the leader of SEES, too. Ken wandered for a while, before he ended up on the fourteenth floor.]
[Ken sits down in front of the consoles that has some kind of fighting game. He starts messing around with the controller - he's not particularly good, but it's at least something to get frustrated at besides this fucked-up situation with Shinjiro.]
[And it's something to take his mind off of it for a little bit, too… which hopefully is enough to make him not cry.]

Well done. It's clear you have a strategic mind. These games are an interesting way to train your reflexes, and hone your ability to read weaknesses in your opponent... if this is any indication, you're quite the capable combatant.

Yeah. Some of my skills are limited when I can use them but I try to make up for it with my spear fighting.

Oh, you wield a spear, do you? I'd like to observe you practicing some time, if I may...

[... Well that's not creepy at all.]
Sure. I had to go down to the workshop to fix my spear - it was broken when it came with me. But it should be done setting now.
[Fifty miles of glue and ductape will work dammit.]

There's always other means to take care of things than such. It's simply a matter of learning how far you can push yourself and your own abilities.
Ah, there's no rush, of course. Whenever you feel the inclination. As a Master, I do appreciate an excellent demonstration of form.
[that poor spear]

Yeah, I know. There's usually a weakness to use.
[He does grin a bit though.]
I'm better than anyone else I've seen with a spear. I'd be glad to show you.
[It's better than a pipe with a piece of glass stuck in it which is what he was working with when Strega found him...]

When you have finished your repairs, by all means, please let me know and perhaps you can show me what a spear master from your world can do.
[Wow, Ken. Master of improvisation, are we?]

I will. And elemental weaknesses are usually easy for our team to take care of - and it kind of helps that a lot of shadows aren't immune to guns or bombs.
[He likes his spear but those kinds of weapons are pretty effective too. :| ]
