[Open] The Hunt is On

Characters: The Disciple and anybody willing to hunt/explore with her!
Setting: Starts off from Floor One and goes from there.
Format: Basically action, but I'll match whatever you want to do.
Summary: The Disciple just finished her oatmeal and is annoyed by how bland it is. She decides to take up hunting for some meat.
Warnings: Violence, bloodshed, killing creatures, basically your average hunting. Will update when necessary.

'This is weird.' She thought while looking at her oatmeal. The meal had cooled down some to a lukewarm temperature, and it was nice and stiff. She looked at it closely and curiously. Noting how it didn't look too bad, she then gives it a few cautious laps with her tongue, and soon starting eating the whole dish.

When done, the Disciple felt very unsatisfied, and decided she rather hunt for some real food. The problem was where, since she had no clue where she ended up. All she found was a trunk full of her personal items, an orange colored collar on her neck, and was within a very strange building. Her best guess was that The Imperial Condesce had finally tracked her down and put her here to die. Thinking of her made her growl and soon got up from her place. There was no way she was going to let that monster get to her!

The Disciple then gathers her things and walks out to explore.

Xue had geared up and decided to explore the tower herself. Trolls were natural hunters and she was no exception so she was now skulking the shadows of the first floor and seeing what she could find.

She had decided to leave Sweetfang in her room for this particular venture since she still didn't know the tower at all. It'd be too dangerous for the hatchling.

Right now she could be seen disappearing and reappearing from the shadows as she walks, a bit lost in her own thoughts at the moment.

Disciple notices a strange figure appearing and disappearing within certain areas of the floor. Figuring it is either a creature or a highblood, she keeps her defenses up and keeps walking.

...Until she notices that the shadow is near her now. Disciple cautiously begins to turn her head.

"Whatever you want with me, I have nothing on me that is of value."

Xue stops and stands up straight, giving the person a once over before lowering her weapons.

"I ain't be stalkin' ya mon, was jus' explorin'." She paused for a moment before continuing. "Unless ya be one of da monsta's that have been poppin' outta nowhere, then I be afraid I'll need ta eliminate ya before ya do it ta me. Notin' personal ya know?"

She is puzzled and looks around before looking back at her.

"There are monsters around this floor? I guess she did plan for everything..."

She soon realizes the warrior's full statement and becomes annoyed.

"I am not really a monster! I am just very lost on where I am at the moment! The only place I know of is my room and this food service area.

...but thanks for letting me know about the dangers around here."

"Eh it nevah hurts ta be ready an' as far as I be knowin' der can be danger in every floor cept where we be stayin'... Somehow dat don't be makin' me feel any bettah."

Xue looks her over and laughs a bit, removing her mask and cowl and giving her a playful grin. "Ey don' be takin' it personal. I be called a monstah often myself. I'm jus' bein' cautious."

"So ya say ya arrived here recently? It be goin' da same fer me mon. Dat be why I be goin' huntin' an' splorin'. Need ta get accustomed to da new place if I be goin' ta survive."

She becomes surprised at how different she looks, but relaxes at her words.

"It never hurts to be cautious, especially within a place like this. It is good to know that we are both experienced when it comes to hunting."

She pauses for a bit.

"Since we are both new here, let us both explore the place! That way we can get to know the area better, and we can catch lots of prey between us. I do not know about you, but that meal they served was not very filling."

Xue laughed and gave her a friendly thumbs up,

"Sounds like a plan ta me, huntin' parties tend ta do much bettah."

She got closer, keep her weapons sheathed in a way to not seemed threatening and smiled at her, pointing a thumb towards herself.

"Name's Xue'Kol. Xue's fine too, it be a pleasure ta meet'cha."

"The masses at home called me Disciple, so you can call me that as well. I am used to it.

Nice to meet you Xue'Kol!"

Smiling warmly, she quickly jogs out of floor one, but not before turning to her fellow hunter again.

"Just a small warning: Do not get in my way when hunting. I may hurt you and that is something we do not need right now."

"Disciple huh? Interestin' name ya got der. Fittin' of an interestin' gal." she added with a smirk before following suit.

At the warning Xue simply smiled, "Don' ya worry none, I be as eagah ta git hurt as I'd be wantin' ta git split in half."

Not that she wasn't used to injuries, came with the constant warring and such... Being blessed with regeneration also tended to make you a bit reckless.

[ Minato notices Disciple, sort of glancing around and whatnot, and is curious. So, the natural thing to do? ... Go greet her!

So, the 'alien' goes to offer her a smile. He's... basically the least intimidating thing ever, at a little over 5 feet and three inches, so. ]

... Hello. You're a troll, right?

Aradia had to stop and look twice when she glimpsed the Disciple leaving the cafeteria. It had been some time since she'd last seen the adult troll around the tower and, though they had only briefly spoken, Aradia couldn't help but be curious about whether she would remember the previous stay.

And so she ran to catch up with her, her wings helping her pace somewhat. "Hi!"

Suzaku nodded politely at the Disciple when he saw her. He had never actually met her but he had seen her before and knew her to be a friend of Signless. "Hello."

"...I guess" she said while rubbing her head shyly and turning back to floor two. She liked compliments, but right now she just felt distracted and uneasy. Mostly because of her situation and how this floor looked rather strange. Trying not to let it get to her, she looks around curiously at the various bottles, beds, and tools.

"What is this area called?"

Xue followed and upon coming into view frowned, looking around and studying the area.

"Don't know mon, dis place jus' looks like da medical ward. But I never be seein' one quite like dis one. Dun tink we be findin' much prey 'round 'ere unless dey be keepin' game in da place."

[Sensing someone near her, she looks towards the voice and is surprised to see a slightly tall youthful (at least she thinks so?) stranger smiling at her. His bright smile made her blush a bit and laugh nervously.]

"Y-yes I am. And what of you?"

[It soon dawns on her that she shouldn't have let her guard down, all because of a friendly gesture. She backs away from him.]

"Are you a servant of The Condesce? If so, then please get out of my way. I just want to escape."

She suddenly freezes at the words, and looks behind her curiously. There she spots a young troll. Disciple doesn't know what to make of this (especially since this one had wings!) and just returns the courtesy.

"Hello."

Seeing how young she was made her upset. She really hoped this troll wasn't put here for torture.

"Are you trapped here as well?"

That answered that question. Aradia nodded, quick to follow up with words.

"Yes, but don't worry. It's mostly not so bad, at least so long as you can avoid the weird games and collar mix-ups."

When she sees someone giving a polite gesture towards her, she gives one in return. Even if he does look sorta strange to her, she's still courteous!

"Hello. Do you work here at this tower?"

"Weird games? Is she that sadistic? I always thought of her as a pretty straightforward troll when it came to culling others."

She pulls at her collar and looks at its orange hue.

"I have been meaning to ask...why do we have these?"

"Medical..."

It makes sense, especially since she smelled familiar herbs that she took to make her own salves. Since she already had her healing items, she quickly went to the next room.

When opening the doors loudly, she walks in but stops. To her surprise, it was a huge library with vast amounts of books! She could not contain her excitement and ran to various shelves.

Well damn, she'd never seen anyone this excited about books since the Sin'dorei in her troop found Medivh's library... But that also came with a reason for her to be a bit wary of the room they were currently in.

"Oy' Dizzy," yes apparently she had decided on a nickname for her already. "Be careful wat ya be touchin' yeah? Dis kinda place can sometimes 'ave dem booby traps. Not tellin' ya ta be a stiff but jus' be on yer toes mon."

With that said, Xue walked closer to the other girl and simply looked over her shoulder at what she was doing. Truthfully books never interested Xue much unless they were awesome adventure stories or that sort of thing.

[ He pauses mid-sentence. ]

No, I'm not anyone's servant. I'm a human--my name is Minato. I'm trapped here like you. Um... I'm sorry, but we haven't found a way out.

Are you friends with Signless-san and the others?

"She?" Aradia frowns a little at that in confusion before she realises who the Disciple probably means. "Oh, um, she's not in charge here...although I've heard she is here, she's just been brought here like the rest of us have."

At the question, Aradia gives a slight shrug. "I'm really not sure. I do know that when mine was switched to orange for a little while, my powers went out of ocntrol and I felt really weird...but other than that? We've never been told."

Suzaku shook his head, "No. I have been brought here like you..." He guessed this was another double or another trick of the tower. For although he had seen her before she was acting as though she was new to the tower. "Though we are given jobs the only ones who truly work here are those whose collars," he pointed to his own, "Have no colour, or those who wear red collars."

She stops what she's doing to give her new hunt-mate a look. "I assure you I am fine. I do not feel dizzy."

Unless this was her way of saying this room may be a trap, to which she dropped the book and hopped back.

"...maybe we should leave. Sorry! I am a huge book lover. Plus it is always good to know what your enemy is thinking, you know? It can give us a nice head start."
