[Open] The Hunt is On

Characters: The Disciple and anybody willing to hunt/explore with her!
Setting: Starts off from Floor One and goes from there.
Format: Basically action, but I'll match whatever you want to do.
Summary: The Disciple just finished her oatmeal and is annoyed by how bland it is. She decides to take up hunting for some meat.
Warnings: Violence, bloodshed, killing creatures, basically your average hunting. Will update when necessary.

'This is weird.' She thought while looking at her oatmeal. The meal had cooled down some to a lukewarm temperature, and it was nice and stiff. She looked at it closely and curiously. Noting how it didn't look too bad, she then gives it a few cautious laps with her tongue, and soon starting eating the whole dish.

When done, the Disciple felt very unsatisfied, and decided she rather hunt for some real food. The problem was where, since she had no clue where she ended up. All she found was a trunk full of her personal items, an orange colored collar on her neck, and was within a very strange building. Her best guess was that The Imperial Condesce had finally tracked her down and put her here to die. Thinking of her made her growl and soon got up from her place. There was no way she was going to let that monster get to her!

The Disciple then gathers her things and walks out to explore.

[OOC: Feel free to start from any floor and I'll follow from there.]

"She?" Aradia frowns a little at that in confusion before she realises who the Disciple probably means. "Oh, um, she's not in charge here...although I've heard she is here, she's just been brought here like the rest of us have."

At the question, Aradia gives a slight shrug. "I'm really not sure. I do know that when mine was switched to orange for a little while, my powers went out of ocntrol and I felt really weird...but other than that? We've never been told."

There's a part of Aradia's mind that makes her take note of the comment about having no powers. Was it coincidence, then, that Disciple's own collar was orange or was there something more to the choice of colour?

As the Disciple rubs her head, Aradia frowns in concern. "Are you all right? If...there's an infirmary if you're sick."

"Oh...wait, really?"

That was certainly something she hadn't been expecting to hear.

"Strange...most people either remember straight away or not at all...then again, this tower can be strange at times."

"It's a little unsettling at first," Aradia agrees, "but you'll end up seeing a lot of it while you're here. They like to check on the collars from time to time and it's not something they really let you opt out of. And I think some of the other people brought here from outside work there too."

Aradia smiles in return, a touch deferential in the presence of an adult and a green even as she felt no real threat from being around her.

"Well, I'm glad I could help. This place can be tough going at times but we always come back. And most people here are friendly if you give them the chance."

She smiles at that. "Would it be Signless? Dolorosa mentioned him to me when I first met her...he sounds like quite the inspirational figure."

"Oh! Yes. It was a while ago now, but I think she's still here." She smiled. "So you know her?"

The sudden mood whiplash is a little jarring for Aradia, though she tries not to let it show.

"I'm sure that's not true...and I'm sure she'll forgive you, if you've even done anything wrong. She always seemed reasonable to me."

She shakes her head. "It's fine. I know being here at all can be something of a shock."

At the Disciple's question, she nods. "Yes, they are. Or at least, I hear Signless is here but I haven't spoken to him. Psiioniic I've seen around, though."

"Because this isn't our world."

Aradia doesn't mean to be dismissive of the fact that Signless died or that Disciple saw it. She just has difficulty connecting death and grief the way most do.

"The tower likely brought him here from a point before he died in his own timeline...and possibly in yours too, assuming you're from the same one. Even if not, they can bring us back to life when we die here. It's not such a stretch to think they can do it with people who arrive dead to begin with."

She shrugs.

"They do strange things to us. Whoever they are, it's safe to say they're more powerful than anyone we've ever encountered before."

At her latter comment, Aradia smiles. "Well, that's between you two. I can leave you to go find him if you'd like."

A smile at that. "I can handle most things they throw at me as long as the monsters don't get too close. But I'll certainly keep that in mind."

At the Disciple's latter comment, she nods. "Well, good luck. Oh and, when you do go to eat, you have to eat the oatmeal they give you first. I'm not sure why that's a thing but they're really strict about it."
