Setting: All over the place
Format: Starting action, but I'll match
Summary: Ven just received a pseudo-ransom note from Vanitas, and is now running around the tower trying to find him and figure out what to do.
Warnings: One spikey-haired blonde flipping out.

[It was bad enough knowing Vanitas was in the tower. But when he'd found a lock of black hair and a black leather coat, there was only one person he knew that fit that description, and only one person he knew that could be responsible. And Xion had already been attacked by Vanitas and Vanitas was already pissed off. Ven hardly knew Xion, but honestly? He wouldn't wish Vanitas on anybody. Not only was she Roxas' friend, but it was no doubt his fault that he was involved at all.

So, with the hair and the coat stuffed in his pocket (as...creepy as he found it to be), Ven was running around the tower in a panic, trying to look for Vanitas, trying to find someone he felt safe talking to, and trying his best not to get too angry or to panic too much. Must remain calm.]

Yeah, your facetwin? Placidly sitting in room 1-16, writing in his journal. In fact, he looks a wee bit sleepy, and if Ven hadn't been rushing around in a must-not-panic panic, he probably would have dozed off after a few minutes.

"Whoa-!" However, the whirlwind of roommate sure ensured he wouldn't be sleeping any time soon. "Are you...okay?" What the hell is sticking out of your pocket what are you even doing Ven.

Facetwin just barely managed to grab Ven's attention before he whirled away, so he managed to slide to a halt, so hi Roxas.

Oh. Roxas.

"Roxas!" Alright at least with knowing he has to do something, he's not panicking. "I need to talk to you! It's important!"

"Uh, sure? Go for it."

Roxas tossed his journal towards the general direction of his trunk, the pen slipping out of the ring and hitting the floor. Eh, he'd get it later.

"But, mind answering my question first? "

"--Huh?"

OK so in his rushing around, Ven probably didn't expect Roxas to need to ask him something or, anything. Normally he would be more curious about the journal, but there was no time now!

"Uh, sure? What's up?"

"I just want to know what's wrong. You're all..."

Tweaky? Twittery? ...hyper no wait that was normal.

"I guess it just seems like it's been quieter around here lately. Is something going on today?"

Quiet. Hahah. Quiet. Hah.

Ven rubbed the back of his head awkwardly, staring at the ceiling while he thought about how to answer. "There's...stuff's happened. To both your questions."

And he lowered his hand, frowning. "Look, it's important--" and he shook his head a bit-- "Do you remember the stuff I told you about the X-Blade? How my old Master tried to make it?"

[Xehanort wanders through the aquarium slowly, examining the fish. There's different species here and it's interesting, a quiet moment of indulgence.

Familiar footsteps. Agitated. Oh, why Ven... whatever could be the matter. He looks up, a smile slowly crossing his face. Was it that time already?]

Is something troubling you, my boy?

--Ah, Master!

[Ven slid to a stop. Xehanort might know...!]

Do you know where Vanitas is?

[There are a variety of answers he could provide. He could play Ventus so easily right now. Clearly there is only one course of action...]

Of course.

[He goes back to looking at the fish, watching one with long, delicate spines trailing from its fins swim slowly through the suspended water.]

[Takes a step to the side to put the fish back into focus. DOWN IN FRONT THAT IS RUDE]

[Ven dug into his pocket while catching his breath, holding out the scrap of Xion's hair and coat he found.]

There's a girl in this tower-- named Xion. She's really close with one of my friends and Vanitas-- he attacked her because of me awhile ago, and I think he's captured her now--!

[YEAH he's just kind of baffled and also ready to summon his keyblade, but nah we're good now. Because he is on the ground. Although Ven does look very confused.]

Huh? Time for what?

"Uh, kinda?" He'd been kinda more concerned about you freaking out THEN, too.

"...why...?" Wariest query ever.

"OK. See, the thing is..." Augh he so didn't want to talk about this and it was really obvious by that look on his face. He took a breath, let it out, and continued.

"When I was little, my Master ripped the Darkness out of my heart so that he could make the X-Blade-- to make it, you need a heart of pure light and pure darkness clashing on equal levels. So he created this guy named Vanitas. Before I came here I was able to defeat him and destroy the X-Blade, but..."

So much blanching and concerned right here. "He's, back for some reason. And he's attacked Xion before because he mistook her for me, and if he mistook her for me then he'll probably mistake you for me too."

[Xion sees a familiar hairstyle in a familiar color turn a corner. She sees the familiar face and the familiar blue eyes. She has plenty of time to move out of the way before he collides with her, but every fiber of her being locks up and something inside of her starts screaming, and so he barrels straight into her.

Hi, Ven. You just literally ran into Sora-in-an-Org-coat and knocked him(?) over.]
