[If Ventus wasn't spending most of his time at the meadow, then he was at the maze. Sometimes he'd have his hand on the wall to help him, other times he didn't. It didn't matter in the end. He always found his way out.

He usually managed to avoid others in here, but today... not so much the case.

He knew those steps. How could he not after ten years? It didn't matter that they sounded slightly lighter than what he knew. It was all the same - something out of his nightmares had arrived and Ventus reacted all the same: He froze in place, fear bubbling up and over taking him as his mind flung itself back to the last thing he remembered. Riku being scared away by the Vanitas he knew.

And this was who Ventus though this was: his Vanitas.
