01 : The Sleeping Prince Awakes
Characters: Lelouch vi Britannia and you!
Setting: Dorm Room 3-08 -> Dorm Floor 1-3 and Floor 3!
Format: Whichever works for you!
Summary: A certain person awoke from his "sleep", and decided to find out just what the hell happened to him.
Lelouch vi Britannia was not a man used to waking up after receiving a lethal wound, as he has found upon waking up. This was perfectly understandable considering said wound, which he received before blacking out, was supposed to be lethal enough to kill him.
Delirious as it is, the man in white decided to stumble out out of his room, and to find out just what kind of place he was stuck in. People might find this man wandering around the Dorm Floor trying to get around the place, should they desire to help him in his confusion.
---
Thankfully, the elevators was simple enough to operate, and the stairs manageable in his exhausted state. With the information gained from the residents, Lelouch decided to approach this library in order to hopefully find more information on his current situation. Even if there were nothing, it was worth a hopeless shot at the very least until he feels better.

The sentence resonated in his head, as he took in Suzaku's surprised countenance. Judging from Suzaku's expression, the other male was as surprised at seeing him in this place, as if not expecting his presence.
He supposed that's fair, considering his surprised face, which immediately disappeared after he processed some more information.
"Zero killed me."
If this person before him is not Suzaku, he would not know the meaning of the sentence. Therefore, even if this is risky, he had to make sure that the man before him is real and not fake.

"I am glad, who... CC?" It was the only other person who could be trusted enough to take on that role.

Closing the distance, Lelouch now stood right before Suzaku with an inexplicable expression written on his face as he put his right hand on his shoulder.
"You. You killed me and took on the name of Zero."

He shook his head, "Lelouch I've been here for eight months, we were fighting, trying to stop FLEIJA, that's the last thing I remember..." It wasn't possible that he could have killed Lelouch, he hadn't been there...

Unknown to Suzaku, Lelouch had stumbled out of his room without even checking his own trunk and knowing literally nothing about this place.
Still, this could be worse. Lelouch thought to himself as his serious demeanor continued to stay in place which should re-assure Suzaku since he's not lyng at all right now.

Perhaps Lelouch came from a different world, one very similar to Suzaku's own? Or perhaps it was just another trick of this tower, in any moment Lelouch would start screaming at him, and then try and kill him...
It seemed real though and really... if this tower could bring doubles of people then this...
They had succeeded? "I don't know, but I was brought here eight months ago and they claim the world has ended..."
He noticed the fact he was still wearing the outfit he woke up in, "Your clothes and belongings are here... in the trunk by your bed... Did you see the notes?"
Shock somewhat dealt with Suzaku put his mind to practical things.

And that sentence alone brought Lelouch's coherent thoughts crashing to the floor.
How did it end? Who caused it to end? Did he overlook something far more greater than the power of Geass and Codes? Questions swam around his head at the absurdity of Suzaku's statement. For Lelouch, Suzaku's words are close to the truth as a Knight should not lie to his comrades, much less his own Emperor.
"...How?"
no subject
Suzaku paused, realising that that was something else Lelouch would not know being new. "Our world is not the only one there is. Everyone here are from different worlds, no one has even heard of Britannia as far as I have been able to gather."
no subject
"...What next? That I'm really alive and breathing right now as opposed to being a corpse?"
He knows that this is a morbid statement, but this is just getting too ridiculous even for him.
no subject
This was a lot of information and really Suzaku should be reporting it properly, but his mind was still reeling from the shock that Lelouch was here, and he seemed to be real, not a trick of the tower.

With that, Lelouch looks down towards his own torso, and touched it with his hand, as if expecting it to go through and into his wound that Zero inflicted him before he found himself in the Tower only to find...
Nothing.
He hasn't checked it thoroughly yet, but if the restoration process this tower used to resuscitate him has no flaw at all, there should be no scars on his person.
Ah. Is this his punishment? To continue to live despite his wish to end his own life?

"This place isn't safe, our captors often conduct experiments or play games that only hold amusement for them. There are monsters, creatures that shouldn't exist... Not all of those they bring here are safe either..."
He was slowly adjusting back to being a knight, he had been on his own for a long while after all, but a soldiers instincts are not something you ever lose.

He was familiar with the word, having been subjected to the crazy genius that is Lloyd, as well as his numerous encounters with the illogical Ragnarok Connection plan, though, that means that the tower is...
"...This place, is it a scientific facility?"
no subject
"They created replica's of our worlds and the people in them, I witnessed a world where Schneizel had won... We have been forced to take part in rituals that involve demonic creatures. Their latest game was forcing us to play hide and seek, with stuffed bears that moved and being found meant death. Yet they still insist that they saved us."
no subject
...Ah. The more he hears about it, the more he sees the darkness that perpetuates this place. Perhaps it was fitting for him to end up here, for Lelouch vi Britannia to be stuck in yet another situation that is near impossible to survive.
"...I suppose this is a fitting place for me, then."
no subject
"There are innocents here though, children even."

He knows that tone. After all, they've been... comrades? Friends? Enemies? Well, it sure was complicated, but that doesn't stop Lelouch from knowing Suzaku's cues and mood, since he's about as readable as a book during moments of emotional duress.
"I didn't pick you as a knight for your pessimistic nature. You're the Knight of Zero- No.
You're Zero, the man who will change the world."

He brought his hand up in a salute across his chest and nodded, shoving his worry into a corner of his mind.
