(no subject)

Characters: Fi ([personal profile] ur_batteries_are_dying) and OPEN
Setting: Floor 7, swimming pool
Format: Starting with prose but either works
Summary: After talking with Jason, Fi has learned that her Master is not really her Master. She goes to the pool to dance on water since every other floor with a body of water makes it impossible for her to dance on it.
Warnings: None but will adjust if anything happens.

Fi wandered through the floors, floating when she could and walking when she couldn't. Though it didn't take long to make it to the floor with the pool, it felt like a while.

'My Master is not my Master.' What was she to make of that? Certainly he was still technically her Master, the Chosen Hero of the goddess and carrier of her blessed blade. In that way, all the Links here were her masters. But they weren't her master.

Her foot dangled over the edge of the pool on the deepest end for only a second before she let it fall, the rest of her body falling. She didn't fall in though, she settled right on top of her water, ripples moving out from where she stood. And then she started dancing and singing.

She'd never admit it, but singing and dancing as she'd done for Master Link throughout their quest was one of the most relaxing things she'd discovered. She'll go about this for as long as possible.

Of course-- where were his manners! Fi was intended to be respectful towards a Sage, and the Sage of course had to show his respect for the Spirit it was his duty to aid. He grabbed his violin and got to his feet, returning the bow.

"Believe me, it is an honor and a pleasure to be able to serve such a purpose. Though I have never seen you in my time, I do hope that I have served my purpose well."

He expected this, but it was nevertheless-- disappointing.

Although admittedly he was a bit flattered by the pit of praise she gave him. "You honor me with your kindness--!" Though hang on, rewind. "Though I am sad to hear of your slumber. I take it at least you have found some sort of... enjoyment? Of your time in the tower?"

"Will though it may be, there's nothing wrong with a twinge of grief at what can not be, so long as we do not dwell on it. I'm sure there are at least those that would enjoy your company in the time beyond yours." basically a majority of his chill philosophy on life. And really who wouldn't want to meet such a spirit?

"I believe that our worlds survive, whether in remnants or a whole. Perhaps it is a bit too far-fetched a tale for me to accept, but I have confidence we shall yet return."

"I no longer serve a purpose properly, but that doesn't mean I don't still enjoy playing out a good tune every now and then," He said playfully. He'd keep playing even after Makar had taken over, as promised.

And a wistful smile crossed Fado's face. "I have seen the destruction of our world once, and atop the ruins of the old world it endured. I do not think it is a matter of proof, but a matter of faith."
