Let's gather 'round the campfire

Characters: Ventus and EVERYBODY
Setting: Halls of the first floor Dormitory, near the stairs.
Format: Prose to start, will match you~
Summary: The power's gone out, so Ven's starting a bonfire.
Warnings: Magical fire and possibly singing TBA

Ven had only been in the tower for a little while and already something was going on. He didn't exactly understand what was going on, only that it was dark and creepy, and that none of the lights were working. Except in the rooms, but those emergency lights were almost creepier than the darkness.

He had managed to gather up some flammable materials into a pile at the end of the hallway, and with a quick "Fire!" the flames were burning and there was at least some light. And a source of heat! Thus he sat against the wall making sure the fire didn't go out, blissfully unaware of any creepy crawlies.

The headfins expanded triggered a reflex in Ven's brain that told him to dodge out of the way, jumping back towards Roxas and Ienzo just a bit. He had half a moment to notice that Roxas had just summoned a keyblade, but only a quarter of a mind to register it after that.

He was halfway between a gasp and a scream. Ice.

His position let him avoid becoming a popsicle himself, but he was close enough to the icy air for it to trigger that horribly new button in his head. Ice. Being frozen. He was terrified. And it showed.

He was concerned with his friends somewhere, but panic took over; Ven turned tail and ran down the hallway, away from the purple...thing and the ice and the human popsicles.

Two out of three frozen. The wings relax for a moment, and the beast's hip armor rotates and merges, forming a long, heavy tail. The creature spins around, bringing said tail around and smashing the frozen Roxas and Ienzo.

A triumphant roar leaves the beast, and he goes stomping off down the hall after Ventus.

"A-Ah!!"

He heard the sound of smashing and flinched and there was no doubt what it was he has smashed them oh light what was he gonna do they were dead.

At the roar Ven spun around fast to cast a haphazard Fire ball in the creature's direction; fire melted ice at least. He wouldn't get frozen again.

The fireball caught the creature off-guard, staggering it for several moments before it started moving forward properly again.

Ven might have enough time to get away!

And get away he definitely did. Ven didn't even check to see if the fireball had made contact with the creature; he spun right around and took off again-- this time at full speed-- and zipped away down the stairs, and kept running until there was at least a half a tower's worth of floors was between him and the dormitories.
