Hope you don't mind the smell of gunpowder (and rage).
Characters: Magoichi, Mitsunari, and anyone who wants to run across them.
Setting: Hallway of Dormitory, Level 02.
Format: Action.
Summary: Two samurai have a reintroduction in the hall. Please don't mind the weapon waving. It's how everyone in Sengoku Era Japan says 'hello.' Note: Answers will come from both Magoichi and Mitsunari.
[ What one is likely to notice first, early enough to drive some late sleepers from their rest, is the sound of yelling. It mostly comes in the form of a male voice, harsh and angry, but at times a woman's booms out against it like cannon fire.
If words alone were not enough to garner attention, the resounding clang that comes from metal hitting metal is startling enough to rouse the dead.
Two newcomers, one a small woman with hair like fire, the other a man as slender as his sword, are at odds in the hallway. The woman uses her gun to block what would have surely been a killing blow from the gleaming katana in the man's hand.
The gaze between them is unbreakable in its intensity as their voices become low growls.
It is a long time before they step apart, but at least when they do they seem mollified enough to be approached.
Approach? Y/N/Ignore Crazy People in Hall ]

Where did you get your head knocked? Have you forgotten our contract completely?
no subject
...Contract? Do not be ridiculous. You contracted with Tokugawa Ieyasu, considering him more worthy than I!
no subject
You were both acting like foolish turkeys. The choice was rather arbitrary.
no subject
Then do not spread such pitiful lies, as if it shall cause me to spare you. By whatever means you revived yourself, know that it shall not be enough!
[yeah he is rather upset. Obviously.]

no subject
You intend for me to believe that you contracted with me, and not with Ieyasu.
[Is that so?]

He's always had trouble grasping deceit, though.
So...a test of loyalty then, right? That seems best--]
Then if you are contracted to me, put aside your weapons and tell me what you know of this place.
no subject
But she holsters her weapon, crossing her arms over her chest. ]
A letter by my bedside claimed that I had been "saved" by some unknown party due to our world being destroyed.
Which, until further evidence is supplied, I am considering likely to be bullshit fed to us in order to make us more cooperative prisoners.
no subject
There is no way they would have the means to destroy such a thing.
[The demon king tried and failed okok.]
Then we simply must find our captors and make them rue the day they kidnapped us and spread such lies.
['We'. Or something like that. He recognizes, Gyobu's advice still ringing in his ears, that it will be easier to accomplish with Magoichi.
And he can't leave the Toyotomi.]
no subject
[ Who is the brains of this outfit? Oh yeah. Not you. ]
no subject
[...Magoichi has betrayed the Toyotomi not once but twice in his eyes--
But she is not dead, when he clearly remembers killing her. And she is attempting to assist him now...
It is altogether too confusing to worry about right now, when they should focus on getting out of here.
So. Gaining loyalty. Gyobu would be proud. He straightens a little, fixing Magoichi with a stare.]
If we are to work together, I would have proof of your loyalty.
[He would have a contract, since he clearly doesn't remember it the first time round.]
no subject
[ Waiting! Come on, you can be a big lord and do negotiations instead of frothing at the mouth. She knows it. ]
no subject
Form another contract with me. Until the time we may escape this tower, you shall work for me. Betrayal shall not be permitted; if you even contemplate such a thing, I will cut you down where you stand.
[...this is familiar--
But yes, he is kind of single-minded when given a purpose.]
no subject
[ But she draws her gun once more, though this time she sets the muzzle against the hilt of his blade. ]
We are the Saika faction! The red bell rings! The pact that we made shall be known to all. Let it toll! Let the bell call out across the land!
[ All right, so it is a little less epic without the shooting and the bell ringing in the distance, but good enough. ]
no subject
Very well. As I stated, I shall not accept betrayal.
[He's already threatened her with his sword, though, so he doesn't see the point in the repetition.]
Now come. We must do what we can.
[ go go go go go ]
no subject
[ ...not like her being contracted to you means you get to make decisions or anything, obviously. ]
no subject
The plan is sound. There is greater safety in numbers, and for that reason you shall watch my back currently.
[Stick with him.]
no subject
[ She does not take her oaths lightly. ]
