Teddie remembered heading back into the TV World after watching Sensei leave. He remembered that. Yet he just woke up to a letter that said his world had been destroyed and he wasn't sure if it was his world or the real world and it didn't really matter because THAT WAS IMPOSSIBLE, OKAY?!

THEY JUST WON. BEARLY. BUT THEY DID. SO WHY WAS THE WORLD DESTROYED - EITHER ONE?

So he did the only thing a bear should do in this situation - he panicked, running once, twice around his immediate vicinity before breaking out into the hallways to shout at the top of his lungs.

"YOSUKE! YOSUKE!! KANJI?!?! ANYBODY?!"

He didn't bother to call for Sensei, because Sensei had to be far away by now - long gone from Inaba and beyond whatever area this place was now. He figured it had to be part of the TV World to be suddenly back in his bear suit again.

"CHIE-CHAN?!?! YUKI-CHAAAAAAAN!!!"

The short-ish bear was sobbing now, rolling around on his side every once in awhile or tripping over his own feet that made a distinct, loud squeaking noise when he walked so briskly.

"Why did everyone leave me bear-hind???"

Yu had a habit of coming down to the first floor of the dorms to visit one of his many friends who were assigned to one of the rooms there. A great deal of them were, as a matter of fact, and while it was only a floor away... Well, he could use a break from the meticulous work he'd begun. The only thing that he'd mention about it is 'paper cuts' and 'poor roommates' if anyone asked, though not necessarily in that order.

Because, after that little Q&A earlier on in the month and "accidental" recording... Were all of them really gone? Were they all simply from a parallel universe and not the same one? None of what they'd 'spilled' made any sense, and after what they'd all suffered at the start of the month, he'd been disinclined to believe a word of it. He was still thinking back on it when he exited the stairs and--

That voice...

Yu blinked, looking up from the notes he'd taken during his stay here to see a very familiar bear suit. One he hadn't seen since-

...No, that wasn't real. Couldn't have been real, no matter how it had felt at the time. The yellow bruise on his arm was proof of that--that they were all still there, that no one was dead. To Hell what Jason had said.

"...Teddie?" His concern outweighed the uncertainty, even if only for a brief moment. His friend was panicking, so his own feelings could wait a while longer.

However... no other words would come.

He tumbled right into Yu's legs, the head of his suit popping off in the process. He stared up from the ground at... No way...

"Sensei...?"

"SENSEI!!!" He popped swiftly to his feet. "Boy am I ever glad to see you!"

Then he paused again. "But I thought you were on the train going home! Well, nevermind that! THERE'S TROUBLE, SENSEI! BIG TROUBLE!" He started to flail again, the arms of the bear suit looking absolutely ridiculous with the suit's head flapping behind him too. "I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DOOOOOO."

Oof! Well, Teddie still packed a punch even if it was an accidental tackle. He barely managed to stay of his feet even with bracing himself. Though... Would it really kill Teddie to at least wear pants under that thing? Not that he would comment on it or anything, but...

Yu nodded, the amused sound escaping him almost sounding like a dry chuckle at the same old enthusiasm that he could sense radiating off of his friend. He was the same silly bear, and 'sensei' wouldn't have it any other way. Not to mention that he missed the little ball of cheer even more after what had taken place.

"Calm down," he began. "I know. Several of us have been here a while."

And he meant it. Yosuke and Naoto had been here the longest, Chie most recently. Kanji hadn't been long after him, now that he thought about it...

Momotaros was investigating the names on the rooms here - see if any names jumped out out at him for people he knew when he heard the shouting. His temper kicked up a bit, and he was ready to yell at whatever was making that noise whenever it came into view, but two things stopped him.

One, that definitely wasn't a human.

Two, it was crying.

He may be a cranky, irritable, confrontational jerkass, but he can't be mean to someone in that kinda state.

"...oi, calm down, little bear - you lost?"

"Well, I didn't think I was lost, but maybe my world got lost instead."

It made sense in his mind, trust him - also the visage of this being talking to him didn't even make him blink. "I just wanna find my friends again. Otherwise I'll be un-bear-ably worried about all of them. Their noses are just no good in this fog, and I don't know if they're still carrying their glasses around."

The Imagin squats down, glancing the bear over - kinda odd-lookin', even compared to some of the stranger Imagin he's seen, but...well, the guy seemed like he was in a really rough spot.

"Well. I dunno if they're here - I ain't found my friends yet, but I s'pose I could help you look." It'd tear him up if he left Teddie to his own devices. Plus...well, he wasn't gonna admit it out loud, but waking up here all alone without his own friends sucked. He didn't know if they'd find them - and if they did, well, Momo would definitely be jealous. It's the right thing to do, though.

It's what Ryotaro would do, after all.

I'm sorry for everything.

Crying, huh? Monobear notices it from afar. He can smell it too. Those despair-filled tears are like honey to him. Dashing towards the other bear, this two and a half feet one leaps into the air and comes down at his back with a big kick.

"MONOKICK!"

"AAAAAAAHHHHHH!!!"

Teddie goes flying into the nearest wall, then pops up with his suit's head falling off.

"HEY! YOU, THERE, YOU BEAR! THAT WASN'T BEAR-Y NICE!" Your mean face doesn't scare him... y-yet.

Oh whoa... screaming, walking, talking, crying bear. Curious pirate child is curious. She recognizes absolutely none of the names but hey, she can't help but feel a little bad for the thing.

She'll just walk over and poke at him.

He jumps away into a huddling position, but then peers back over at the person.

"H-hello. My name's Teddie. What's yours?"

His first thought; there was a giant bear-like creature running in the halls screaming names he recognized as being friends of Yu. The second? He could detect the guy's persona.

A bear.

A bear with a Persona.

WHAAAAAAAAAAT. How did that even work. Hades was staying silent and not telling him anything. Come on bro, that wasn't cool. But bear or not, the guy was crying. And so, a completely baffled guy that was even taller than Kanji waltz over and placed himself in his path.

"H-hey! Uh. You alright..b-bear? I can call you bear right?"

"Well, yeah, it'd be kinda weird if you didn't call me a bear, mister. Cuz that's what I am." Geez, how dumb a question was that, the guy sounded like Yosuke when they first met.

"And no I'm not fine!" He stamped and twisted his foot in place a little, frustrated. "I can't find my friends! I can smell some of 'em, so I know they're close, but that's about it."

He knew that voice. It was rather hard to forget Teddie's after hearing him just once, really. Kanji had his hands already full with the sewing equipment he was bringing below but the hell with that, friends were way more important than materials. They landed on the ground as he yelled out.

"Teddie! Over here!"

"Kanji???" Teddie ran full-sprint towards the voice, legs squeaking the whole way. "KANJIIIIII!!!!"

HAVE A MAN-BEAR-HUG, KANJI.

It'd been awhile since a new roommate came into good old 1-10. There'd been humans... a couple of trolls, even. But this was new-bear. It wasn't even close to resembling Canada's pet.

Still, whatever it is has woken him up by his panicking. Well, that part was understandable. They always did. Before he could run around and (eventually) land himself in a whole world of hurt, Francis shifted to sit up, waving a hand in a mockery of a cheerful 'hello'. Tower man. Eats cheer.

"Found the letter, I see?"

Teddie froze in place and turned towards the unfamiliar person, his head ratcheting like a doll. He was worried at first, but it shifted to determination.

"Yes! And a bear's gotta do what a bear's gotta do! We were on a mission so whatever happened is ours to fix! That's what heroes are s'possed to do!"

He flexed a little. See how tough he is, Canada?

"..ah, so it's going to be that sort of morning," Kohaku idly comments, as anguished shouts of names she didn't recognize come booming down the halls.

Teddie runs past her initially, but then runs backwards to stand in front of her again.

"Oh, hello, miss. Now I know I'm not dreaming, because you're like nothing I could ever imagine on my own~"

[ocariness]

[ ... This is an elf-looking person staring.

They have highly sensitive hearing. You are screaming. It is painful, Teddie, Please stop. Link just sort of gingerly approaches Teddie, frowning. ]

... Your friends, if they are here, are probably fine. Please calm down.

[ Pause. ]

... You know Kanji Tatsumi and Yosuke Hanamura?

[ He skids to a halt near you, Link. At least now his voice will be conversation-level. ]

YES! Do you know where they are??? Y-you're not... going to hurt me or anything, right?

That...is a bear.

Far be it for the star to make any sort of silly comment about such things, but...it was a bear that was not a demon. A bear that was talking, and also red and blue.

He'd seen many strange things come from the other worlds of man, but...

"You made a pun."

Saiduq hadn't meant to speak up- he'd been quite okay simply watching confusedly as the bear ran to and fro. But it was...

"You're a bear. You said bear-hind."

He simply could not comprehend someone having the same sort of humor as the Shining One.

Teddie blinked at this other person. "Y...es? I... like doing that."

He tilted his head - which meant most of his body too. "Is that a bad thing or something?"

Even with all of his sagely wisdom, Fado had absolutely no idea what this thing even was or what it was doing or how to handle this.

So on one of the occasions where Teddie had taken to rolling around on his side in despair, the Kokiri was watching intently, both perplexed and still a bit curious.

"..."

And he gave the... creature a small poke with the end of his violin's bow. What was this even...?

"WOAH THERE!" Teddie growled in confusion, then turned on the person who was poking him.

"What'd you do that for?! You might have ripped some fur out doing that!" He rolled to his feet and assumed a defensive stance. "You tryin' to pick a fight with me?! Grrr!!!"

But he didn't attack. His eyes went wide as he caught a look at the person finally. "Oh hey - another Not-Human!"
